Good morning. How are you all doing? I hope everything is good with you. I'm fine as well. My name is parineeta. Among you and today's contest, I'm going to join in the Steem Kids & Parents Community organised by @steemkidss Food challenge contest week #60|| For kids and parents| contest. I appreciate you @steemkidss for organising such an amusing and valuable contest. This competition also helped me enhance my cooking talents.

Today I'm going to show you how to cook a spicy and mouth watering cuisine
Fritters. Small youngsters adore this type of cuisine. These are India's traditional snack .This is something I've done countless times previously. Because of the taste, I wanted to make these snacks again. I prepared this using a variety of materials. So, let's learn how to prepare these tasty and spicy nibbles quickly.

INGREDIENTS

  • Gram flour
  • Two onion
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander leaf
  • Oil for frying
  • Onion and garlic
  • Pinch of red chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Two tablespoon rice flour
  • Salt for taste

Let's start the recipe

Step 1

First of all took a mixing bowl add 1 cup of gram flour and i another side chopped all the ingredients. Evenly and thinly slice the onions and chopp green chillies and coriander leaves and crush 5 cloves of garlic. Put them in a mixing dish.

Step 2

Add all the chopped ingredients in the bowl where we have took gram flour. After that add Salt as per your taste and add red chilli powder and pinch of salt and mix all the ingredients properly and again add 2 table spoon of rice flour. Adding rice flour make our pakoda crunchy and crispy.Then add required quantity of water to prepare a medium thick batter. And mix well.

Step 3

Place the frying pan or kadai in a cooktop and add some oil for frying pakoda. When oil is heated add a spoon full of batter.You can add less or more depending on the size of the kadai or pan. Just be careful not to overcrowd the onion pakoda during frying.Turn the pakora over with a slotted spoon and continue to fry until it is slightly done and faintly crispy.

Fry the onion pakoda until crisp and brown.Remove the cooked onion pakora with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.

While deep-fried meals such as pakora are commonly assumed to be bad, they are actually more beneficial than unhealthy. The deep-frying technique is what makes them unhealthy because it causes the meal to lose a lot of nutrients due to the high temperatures.

Pakoda is high in fibre because it is created from veggies and chickpea flour. Fibre is necessary for keeping you full, reducing constipation, and supplying a variety of essential nutrients such as calcium and iron. Fibre also aids digestion and enhances feelings of satiety, which reduces the impulse to overeat.

Pakoda is also high in vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and niacin. These vitamins are essential for preserving your skin and your energy levels.

CAN HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT

Including a few pieces of pakoda in your diet will assist you in maintaining a healthy weight. You won't feel guilty eating this snack because it's high in fibre and low in calories, fat, and other carbs.

Pakoda is also an excellent snack for folks who have difficulty eating vegetables. If you don't like vegetables, pakoda is an excellent way to get them into your diet.

ANTIOXIDANTS ARE CONTAINED

Pakoda is an excellent dish to consume if you are concerned about your health and want to avoid cancer. Pakoda contains both vitamins A and C, which function as antioxidants and aid to prevent cell oxidation.

This pakoda can be eaten any time as a snacks. It can be taken with green chutney and with tomato ketchup. kids generally preferred to eat this snacks with tomato ketchup. Some preffer to consume with tea.
