62 days have passed like yesterday, it all started 2 months ago and now we are in the first week of the third season, I can't express the joy of being a participant in this season's contest as the previous season was advantageous to me.

Thanks to all the users that supported me and the communities which made it happen I appreciate that a lot, but here is another challenge and I begin this week's challenge in the steemkids community which we are requested to answer a few questions about our dreams as a kid.

What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future.

Life is full of surprises and this is not an issue when it comes to children, as children see everything positively, we tend to believe our imagination is in our palms and we can execute those plans whenever we can, not knowing that there is more to life than just our imagination or rather illusions.

As custom to every child, we have multiple dreams and I wasn't different, I had dreams, in fact, sometimes I wanted to be a mechanical engineer and then I saw it as dirty work, as such I changed dreams, electrical engineering not until NEPA invited police to arrest the landlords in our areas which my dad was included, in this process I hated electricity and I changed dreams again, a footballer and lastly I wanted to be a pilot.

So being a pilot with good pay and a family overseas, with nice cars, a mansion and good summer vacation around the world, I would love to see Paris, Italy, USA, Japan, Switzerland and other good countries I had dream to visit with my family.

If one of my dreams as a child had come to reality as I had planned them, well I might not be in a position of grumbling about economic crisis or financial problems.

Amongst all of my dreams, the repeated one that nobody among my peers would dear claims to become is a pilot. initially what triggered this ambition was because of a movie if I could recollect vividly or maybe a cartoon, whichever, ever since then, I had dreamed of becoming a pilot, as such I enquire a lot about airplanes and airplane toys which I had many of different colors and types.

Who supported you in that dreams.

As the first seed of my parent, I was pampered as a child and I could say I almost got everything I ever wanted from them, my parents were always there for me anytime, anyway, any day. They both stood by me, even knowing it might not be my destination but as long as it was what I wanted/desired at that moment, they both supported it, as such I had a lot of airplane gifts from my parent not occasionally but most times. To the extent that when an an airplane flies across our residence at then, my dad or mom often joke about it, saying a pilot is running away with my airplane, those days, I often see the emirate airplane a lot flying across my area.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved.

As I have said earlier life is full of surprises, although I had studied in the process of achieving my dream by firstly, passing through science class to graduating with good grades, unfortunately, there are obstacles along the road of pursuing my dream.

We can never know what tomorrow holds as we can only hope things flow in our direction, as a friend told me yesterday, man disposes God proposes. In conclusion, I was unable to achieve none of the dream I had, which as of now I am not regretting but there is joy in achieving what you had planned to become as a child.

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong?

As I have said in the question before this, I was unable to achieve none because of some obstacles, if I said something went wrong, then I must have overthought it, nothing serious but understandable thing was the issue, finance and the economy of Nigeria, these where the two things that went wrong.

The amount of money needed to proceed and to finally become a pilot was much such that my parent could not afford it, I heard of professional courses after the tertiary certificate as being issued, but there was not enough room for me as I still have 3 siblings who are attending schools, if they were to invest all in me maybe my younger ones will have to stop their education which I cannot accept.

The other disappointment was that, to become a better one you have to study abroad as that was the mighty blow I had, and I had to come down to our level of finance, and as such, that was how I lost the dream of being a pilot.

In conclusion, I have learned that not all we want or plan to achieve will come to reality, there are some dreams that we will never be able to achieve and some we will be fortunate to accomplish, in my case, I wasn't able to achieve any, but life didn't stop there for me as I find my way into the line at which God has made possible for me without thinking of sacrificing too much. As I have once said, MAN DISPOSES GOD PROPOSES

I hereby invite @kawsar @malikusman01 and @lhorgic to participate in this ongoing contest in the steemkis community.

Greetings and blessings

It's never too late to materialize our dreams friend.

I understand the situation; something similar happened to me, I couldn't study what I always wanted, because we were several brothers, and with the economic situation of our parents, they couldn't support me in that.

As you say, man proposes and God disposes, it is he who guides us and knows our future.

Successes in the contest.

Thanks for your comment, at the time I wonder if I was the only child maybe this dreams would have come to reality
Thank you

Indeed, you have written a very nice post about your dreams as a child. I must say that you're a very funny man as you wanted to become a mechanical engineer but you totally run away from it because of how dirty the work look like.

I also had dream of becoming a pilot which I later switched over to businesses. Thank you for sharing your post with us and o must say that I so much love reading your post..

Best of luck.

Interesting on ur side bro, from being a pilot to a businessman, haha, yea the look at the mechanical engineer irritate me, I see them all dirty and stuffs, I never knew there was more to it than dirty, but at then the dirtyness was all I see😁😁

rightly said sir. not all dreams make it to reality. we have to see what tomorrow brings at the table. NEPA is something else. i'm not NIgerian but i have heard a lot about it. so funny and aching at same time.😁

Imagine, you have heard about NEPA, for where and how, if you were a Nigerian, you will be posted with the way things are dome with electricity.

This was more than a contest entry but a yrue expression of a real life story.

It's true that most of our dreams doesnt co.e fufilling or might not even fulfill, its actually natural for young folks to have so many great dreams , most of such are just imaginations or mere wish.

Its nice to hear your own part of the story.

However, i'll tell you that despite the fact that your dreams didnt come fufilling doesnt mean you fail, maybe those dreams weren't just going to work out, but the good thing is that you are surviving now.

And hopefully you have other great dreams.

My advice ?

Don't give up, better days ahead...
