You have highlighted comprehensively your opinion on childhood and adulthood, you have also started reason to prefer adulthood over childhood, and one of the reason are permission is not needed to act on any activities.

    Adulthood and childhood are both stages one have to pass through. Childhood is only for a while whereas adulthood tarries till death.
