The Diary Game - For 19/03/2024 - My Fitness Walk To Some Selected Streets In Uyo
Shallom to you all dear steemians in the Steem Kids & Parents Community and the Steemit blockchain at large. Hope your midweek activities is splendid and memorable, if so let's give God the glory in the highest.
Health they say is 'wealth', and cannot be traded for anything. Remaining fit is a matter of exercise which can be done in different ways. My fitness walk today took me from home across different street and places. It all starts after I was done with some house chores, then I commence the walk from Ikot Ekwere Itam walking through Itu road, accessing church road before navigating Ikpa road to the office.
At the office I attended to some office duties that have been waiting for my attention before I proceeding to walk to Ikot Ekpene road.
As I walk through Ikot Ekpene road I noticed that the vehicular activities were somewhat slow, most of the busses for city shuttle are lining up in queue with fewer passengers. I know it could be the inflation that is still rocking the nation.
Then I proceeded and gets to the Willington Bassey roundabout and navigate the Uyo Plaza.
At wellington way, I stopped to check for a phone accessory I was to pick up, but the prize is far beyond what I had.
I then move and walked through the plaza to Aka road to access Etuk street to buy rice and other items needed in the family.
Even the plaza wears a lighter activities, that is not as busy as it use to be on a normal day.
I walked down Etuk street to my customer's place where I bought items for stew and other condiments.
I then stop over to buy the rice.
The prices of items is still in the highest heavens as people looks frustrated.
After I was through with my shopping, I proceed to walk back to the office at Ikpa road, sweating out the bourdom of the hard times.
On leaving the office, I walked back home to rest for the day.
In the course of my walking I make use of a fitness tracker which recommend that 10,000 is the normal steps each day to contribute to once good health, so I made over 11,800 steps to keep fit and healthy.
