Hello friends, I hope you are all well. Today, the third day of Eid, we went out to travel with the family. We set out to travel in a rickshaw. Because my brother and I were there. And my mom and dad were in another car so we couldn't travel with them. We have traveled separately and we have traveled to different places. We completed one of our extra trips after completing the trip to where the family purpose was.
Here you can see an iron bridge. There is a river at the Matidali intersection of Bogra city. And there is one more bridge in this Matidali. That bridge is made of cement. Next to it is the construction of this little Bailey Bridge. In our Bengali language it is called Bailey Bridge.
This bridge has double carriageway. Although the bridge is not very wide, double carriageways can be used on this road. In addition, pedestrians use this road. Because there is no alternative road, only this bridge is the only resource.
I took the picture from the top of the bridge while navigating through it. An iron angle is given along the side of the bridge. The angles are given in the same system just above. As if the gravity of the bridge is right. When he was an engineer in building the bridge, he had a lot of intelligence and he built this bridge very beautifully.
If you look closely at the picture, you will see that there is paddy land under the bridge. Because there is no water in the river at present. Paddy is being cultivated here at present. After a while the rainy season will come down and water will be seen on all sides of the river. Then the view will be very beautiful and you will enjoy traveling on the bridge.
If you notice more, you can see the cars moving here. CNG is running. The rickshaw is moving. Besides, people are moving on foot. This bridge is their only resource. This bridge was completed and commissioned long ago. From there, human suffering has decreased. Because the people here used to use bamboo bridges to cross this river. When there was no bridge.
Today it took us about thirty minutes to travel this Bailey Bridge. The bridge is located near the Matidali junction, about two kilometers from my home. হ্যালো বন্ধুরা আশা করি আপনারা সবাই ভাল আছেন। আজকে ঈদের তৃতীয় দিন আমরা পরিবারের সঙ্গে ভ্রমণ করতে বের হয়েছিলাম। আমরা একটি রিকশা নিয়ে ভ্রমন করতে বেরিয়েছি। কারণ সেখানে আমার ভাই এবং আমার ভাবি ছিল। আর আমার আম্মু আব্বু অন্য গাড়িতে ছিল বলে আমরা তাদের সঙ্গে ভ্রমণ করতে পারিনি। আমরা আলাদা ভ্রমণ করেছি এবং আমরা বিভিন্ন জায়গায় ভ্রমণ করেছি। পরিবারের উদ্দেশ্য যেখানে ছিল সেখানে আমরা ভ্রমণ সম্পন্ন করার পর আমাদের এক্সট্রা ভ্রমণ একটা ভ্রমণ সম্পন্ন করেছি।
এখানে আপনারা একটা লোহার ব্রিজ দেখতে পাচ্ছেন বগুড়া শহরের মাটিডালি মোড়ে একটা নদী আছে এই নদীটির নাম হচ্ছে করোতোয়া নদী। এবং এই মাটিডালিতে আরো একটি ব্রীজ রয়েছে। যে ব্রীজটি সিমেন্ট দিয়ে তৈরি করা। তার পাশে রয়েছে এই ছোট্ট বেইলি ব্রিজ তৈরি করা। আমাদের বাংলা ভাষায় এটাকে বেইলি সেতু বলা হয়।
এই ব্রিজ দিয়ে ডবল গাড়ি চলাচল করার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। ব্রীজটা যদিও বেশি চওড়া নয় কিন্তু তবুও এই রাস্তাদিয়ে ডবল গাড়ি চলাচল করা যায়। এছাড়া পথচারী এই রাস্তা দিয়ে চলাচল করে থাকে। কারণ রাস্তার পাশে কোন বিকল্প রাস্তা নেই শুধুমাত্র এই ব্রীজটি একমাত্র সম্বল।
এই ব্রিজ দিয়ে চলাচল করার সময় আমি ব্রীজের উপর থেকে ছবিটি তুলেছি। ব্রিজের পাশ দিয়ে যেরকম লোহার অ্যাঙ্গেল দেওয়া রয়েছে। ঠিক উপরেও একই সিস্টেমে অ্যাঙ্গেল দেওয়া রয়েছে। যেন ব্রিজের গ্রাভিটি ঠিক থাকে। ব্রীজটি তৈরিতে যখন ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ছিল তার খুব বুদ্ধি ছিল খুব খুব সুন্দর করে এই ব্রিজটি তৈরি করেছে।
ছবিটা ভালভাবে লক্ষ করলে আপনারা দেখতে পাবেন ব্রিজের নিচে ধানের জমি রয়েছে। কারণ নদীতে বর্তমানে পানি নেই। আপাতত এখানে ধান চাষ করা হচ্ছে। কিছুদিন পরে বর্ষাকাল নামবে এবং নদীর আনাচে-কানাচে পানি দেখা যাবে। তখন দৃশ্যটি খুব সুন্দর লাগবে এবং ব্রীজটিতে ভ্রমণ করেও আনন্দ পাওয়া যাবে।
আপনারা আরও লক্ষ করলে দেখতে পারবেন এখানে গাড়ি চলাচল করছে। সিএনজি চলাচল করছে। রিকশা চলাচল করছে। পাশাপাশি মানুষজন পথচারী চলাচল করছে। এই ব্রিজটি একমাত্র তাদের সম্বল। এই ব্রিজ অনেক আগে কমপ্লিট করে চালু করা হয়েছিল। সেখান থেকে মানুষের দুর্ভোগ কমেছে। কারণ এখানকার মানুষজন এই নদী পারাপারের জন্য বাঁশের ব্রিজ ব্যবহার করা হতো। যখন এই ব্রীজ ছিলনা তখন।
আজকে এই বেইলি ব্রিজ ভ্রমণ করতে আমাদের প্রায় ত্রিশ মিনিটের মতন সময় লেগেছে। আমার বাসা থেকে প্রায় দুই কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত মাটিডালি মোড় এর আশেপাশে এই ব্রীজটি রয়েছে। আপনারা চাইলে বগুড়া শহরের প্রাণকেন্দ্র থেকে খুব সহজে রিকশা বা সিএনজিতে করে এখানে আসতে পারবেন। আপনাদের মাঝে সুন্দর একটি ভ্রমণ গল্প লিখে আমি আজকে আমার লেখা শেষ করলাম। সবাই ভালো থাকবেন সুস্থ থাকবেন। পরবর্তীতে আবার দেখা হবে। আসসালামুয়ালাইকুম।
