Hello dear friends, welcome to my blog . Its another opportunity to share in this wonderful contest organized by @eliany in the steemkids commmunity. Contests like this inspire creativity and productivity, so I really appreciate all who like myself take out time to support these contests.

Today we will be taking about another member of the cat family "The Tiger 🐅 " So lets get right into it.

DESCRIPTION OF A TIGER
A 🐅tiger is a large 😻 animal,in fact it is the largest living cat and belongs to the panthera genus .

It is a hunter and primary preys on ungulates which are large mammals with hooves such as cattle,sheep etc.

A tiger can be identified by the large body,big strips on its orange coloured fur and white under belly.

A tiger is a social predator,it loves large territories which supports its hunting and rearing of its young.
Tigers also love water and are fast runners.

QUALITIES OF A TIGER 🐅

Some qualities of a tiger include

• Strength
• Fearlessness
• Cunning
• Independence
• Majesty -little wonder kings or men of power are called "Tigers".

HAVE I SEEN A TIGER 🐅 BEFORE?
Only on television ,but I hope to see one in reality too.

IMPORTANCE OF TIGERS TO MAN

• Tigers 🐅 could serve as a source of revenue,if raised for tourist attraction purposes.For instance if a tiger is raised in the Zoo people pay to go see them .

• Tigers like every other predator help control the population of herbivores in the environment , there by ensuring food availability for humans.

• Tigers can be raised as pets.

• Tigers could serve as food.

• The tiger skin serves as raw materials for clothing and other human used items.

The benefits of tiger to humans are enormous,it is important then that we do all we can to preserve this Animal,the tiger is facing threats of extinction and we all must do what we can to serve it ,one way each of us can contribute is by spreading information about the tigers importance to our environment and to us as humans I believe this can go a long way to help educate people who hunt them illicitly.

  STEPS

• FIrst I made a sketch of my drawing.

• Next I realigned the sketch with my pencil to give it a sharper look.
  

• Then I painted 🎨 it with my crayon 🖍️ and named the drawing.
