Welcome to week 111 food Contest Challenge, I'm excited to present my recipes and participate in this beneficial contest because here we learn new methods and recipes of cooking both our local dishes and continental food.
Thanks to @ngoenyi for ensuring that this contest holds every week for our kids and teens to learn new methods of cooking in other to better and balance off their lives.

Porridge Beans With Boiled Plantain

• Beans

• Ripe plantain

• Onions

• Palm oil

• Fresh pepper

• Crayfish (Optional)

• Maggi

• Salt

Process Of Preparation ; Step 1: Beans Preparation

Picked or select your beans from bad to Good ones, put the selected beans in a bowl

add water to wash it for at least two times, put the washed beans inside your cooking pot and parboiled on fire allow it to boil properly before draining the water. Add a new clean water (sizable) for cooking it completely put it back on fire allow it to boiled properly remove the beans grain to check whether it's soft,if it is soft add your onions, Maggi, crayfish, palm oil

Allow it to boiled properly before putting your pepper and salt. The essence I put pepper last is because when you put Palm oil and pepper at the same time, the palm oil will absorb the hotness of the pepper and you will not feel the peprish of the pepper if you are someone that likes pepper in food. Cook for a short time your beans is ready

Step 2 Plantain Preparation

Get a ripe plantain

Peeled it for the shell probably

And slice it based on how you want it,it can be slice in any form, round or flat shape depending on your desire type.

Put the slices plantain in the pot add sizable quantity of water and add small salt and Cook it. Ripe plantain does not take much time for it to be ready between 10-15 minutes your plantain is ready. You can combine both beans and plantain in same plates or put them separately like this

Nutritional Benefits Of Eating Beans With Ripe Plantain

The benefits and value of are enormous and can not be overemphasized. Beans is a potential sources of protein that nourish the body and repairs worn out tissues thereby creating room for good health whereas Ripe plantain are a carb-rich food and a good source of fiber, vitamins and minerals. They also contain antioxidant that fight free radicals. With good levels of vitamin C, they can also support immune function.

This food you have made looks very delicious to me and you have also shared step by step picture and also seen all your ingredients and you have made it with it and this It looks very delicious and I haven't eaten this kind of food till now because this kind of food is not available in our Pakistan and it is not celebrated in our homes because there are some traditional foods of Pakistan that are made only.
