UNFORGETTABLE PUNISHMENT😭

As a child, I have always been chastised, as this has helped build me morally. So punishment is normal and inevitable in our childhood days. Unforgettable punishments are those punishments that have inculcated good morals in our lives. So today I will be taking you through some of the unforgettable memories incurred in my childhood days that have helped mold me.

The Story Of My Lessons

From my teacher;
I learnt a lot of lessons after this memory.
It was on Wednesday a day set by the school authority for recreational and sporting activities, so we played different games like football, basketball and the like, some of us even went ahead in catching insects and playing with sand, as the case may be rough and stubborn people join in the play, some played police and thief and their weapon was stones and sticks, I didn't like much of those plays because I had been warned by my parents on the effects of rough plays.

So as I waited lonelily at the corner watching, a stone landed on my head, I was very angry😡 I thought of who might have stoned me when I wasn't involved in their play, and my heart became furious as I scan through to see if I will identify the idiot but to no avail, I saw a group of boys one year ahead of me, they were playing with red earth, they were smiling some laughing, so I assume one of them plan that shit.

So I picked up a stone. I looked left and right to be sure nobody saw me, I flung the stone towards their direction and it hit one of them. Blood rushed out and I flew away not knowing someone was watching me. I felt guilty about what I did because I was stoned but blood never rushed, but at the same I was happy that I paid back my offender, sorry to whoever was a target of the stray stone. I sat down quietly in my classroom imagining🤔 what might have happened to my target.

Suddenly, a junior pupil walked into my class, I was the only one there, so he told me I was needed by the headmaster, on hearing this my heart split into two, I felt I could disappear but I was still mortal😭, On reaching the master's I looked for words to defend myself but it was pointless. I was lifted by some hefty teacher, hell was flogged out of me. One of the most painful things is that the person who stoned me was the one who reported me and to this day I don't know the person.

In summary;
I learnt an unforgettable lesson which is that we shouldn't take revenge and that the people we assume offending us, may not be the ones, and we should find out before concluding. Next time I will be sharing another unforgettable punishment I received from my parents, Friends. Receiving punishment doesn't mean you are hated but it helps build good morals.
