Contest || Importance Of Co-education
Greetings to all steemians reading this and members of this community, I appreciate @moyeon for organizing this contest.
I would say that CO-EDUCATION is defined as an Educational Practice that deals with educating both boys and girls in the same school. Okay, this topic has created a lot of reactions amongst scholars about whether or not to educate their children in a joint school of both boys and girls. Educating your girl child in a girl's school or your boy child in a boy's school doesn't completely guarantee their academic success.
Depending on the child's psychological state, Psychologically, I want us to understand that educating your boy child in a boy's school can eventually affect your child.
THE TYPE EDUCATION I WOULD PREFER
I won't prefer any education other than co-education, to me co-education is the best education for some reasons. First it creates a kind of mutual relationship between boys and girls making them able to know each other and understand each other and also learn from each other in reality the world works by the activity of both boys and girls main and women so separating your boy from a girl in the name of education doesn't make up because it they will still have to meet to share ideas.
HOW CO-EDUCATION CENTER HAS HELPED
Personally, most schools in our country that separate boys from girls can seminary and they do this more often in the sense of religion, I don't know the intention of this but I think they did this to curtail immoral relationships among our children, especially teens. But even with this a little yeast puffs the whole flour; a corrupt child is always corrupt and will always find ways to practice evil in secret; this leads to demerit and merit.
I will start with the demerit, let's happily make this end.
DEMERITS.
I have observed a lot of downsides to co-education
Distractions; It lead to distraction in class, young adults could be distracted at the sight of a beautiful princess that passed their classroom door and vice versa.
Bullying; Girls are very fragile and have very delicate skins and many parents would not love to see their babies being bullied by some strong head titans
Immorality; Expression of body language by the opposite sex may be a sign of the manifestation of something dirty, this is why most dislike co-education and I think it could be as a result of a lack of trust for their children. But they could be lured anyway.
MERITS
We have numerous benefits connected to co-education, I would say the list is almost endless.
It allows equality between boys and girls especially in country with unequal treatment of boys and girls
It creates room for comparison and discovering ways to affect the academic life of a child positively.
It helps to down gender stereotypes that have to do with proper communication.
I am a child brought up in a Co-educational way, why would I try to steal the opportunity of interactions from my children by sending them to boy's schools and girl's schools? Learn to study our children psychologically to know if they are fit for the pattern of education you chose for them.
I invite my friends and co-steemians @mayzapata2010 @dwings @ekemini01 to join in this contest
