Welcome is a friendly and polite way of making someone feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Welcome can also be a greeting we give to someone on their arrival.
For me, welcome means love, a show of concern, being appreciative, receiving recognition, and being accommodating. At times, the manner in which a welcome is said makes one either feel welcomed or not welcomed. But when you genuinely say welcome!, it should be a friendly greeting and manner to draw someone close.
What we use welcome for
🔻We use welcome in expressions like; welcome home!, welcome to Nigeria! and welcome back!, especially when receiving someone who just arrived.
🔻We use welcome in response to the word "thank you." When a person receives a gift, he is expected to say thank you, and the person in turn says,"You are welcome."
🔻Welcome can also be used to recognize the presence of a person or dignitaries at an occasion or ceremony. It is also used to approve a proposal or a business contract.

When someone uses the word welcome for me, I feel welcome, but it depends on the manner in which the person says it. A person's facial expression matters a lot to me. Your mouth could be saying welcome, but your face is saying otherwise.
But if a person genuinely says welcome to me, I feel loved and cared for. I also feel relaxed around that person, knowing that I'm indeed welcome.
I am a very happy soul, and as much as I can remember, I use welcome accordingly. I don't frown when saying welcome; I freely smile at the person as I say welcome, so I think anyone I say welcome to should feel the welcome impact at once and appreciate it, except for any reason the person feels not welcome.

We should use the word "welcome" often because it gives the next person a sense of care, love, and belonging. For me, welcome is a word of kindness to people. People feel appreciated when they hear welcome.
Welcome even puts a smile on someone's face; they could be thinking that they have failed you in one way, but your response of welcome to them gives them another sense of livelihood.
If welcome isn't a good word to use, we won't use it often. As such, children should also learn by example. It is of great importance that kids learn the use of welcome at an early age so that they can properly use it in the future.
When kids learn to appreciate or greet one another, they develop social skills that will benefit them all through their lives. As we know, greetings contribute greatly to the social and emotional development of young people. As they learn at an early stage, they grow into perfection with it.

Every new year comes with different expectations and goals; this year isn't one of them. 2023 has come and gone; now we face the long-awaited 2024. It is a beautiful, promising year with loads of benefits.
I have so many expectations for 2024, and I believe that with planning, hard work, and dedication, 2024 will be the most successful year. Nothing good comes easy; in one way or another, we must pay a price to get good things.
A lot of lessons were learned from 2023, which will be used to make 2024 a reality. My service to God in the year 2024 is my key to achieving my goals.

Yeah you're very correct, we shouldn't say welcome for just saying sake, it should come from our heart, that we really appreciate someone for their support or efforts. And as you've rightly put it, our facial expressions matter a lot when telling someone you're welcome. So therefore we should try to make our expressions, body language go in sing with the phrase "you're welcome". Nice, good luck

Its true that the manner in which the word welcome os used matters alot.
When you say welcome, it should be dkne cheerfully and with a big smile on your face , this will make the other person to feel welcome indeed.
Welcome denotes kindness, love and appreciation.

As we know welcome is very important in our life it has become a part of our life at the end of the year we welcomed many people and when new year came we welcomed this new year this is our life. has become a part of there are some things that are going along with our life and welcome is really important in our life you have prepared this contest very well and your post is partially appreciated.
