It is a thing of joy to be associated with the kids in steemkids community. Putting smiles on their faces brings joy to my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Today, I printed and launched the steemkids community banner and I also hosted a mini party for the kids in my city to help them feel my presence in the city.
THE STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY BANNER
I thought of printing a banner that will help to advertise steemkids community and steemit as a whole. People believe in the brand and what they can see. Steemkids is a community I founded 6 months ago and as such should be represented fully in my city.
The idea came all of a sudden as I thought of hosting a mini party for the kids in my city to put smiles in their faces. Though on a short notice, I quickly called on @delightsome1 to help with the design.
He quickly did it and sent to me for vetting and approval. After much corrections and additions, this 👇👇👇👇was approved and printed the same day.

The size is 7 by 4 in landscape form. I like it so much. I spent about 30 steem on it to get it ready and for the party.
THE MINI PARTY FOR THE KIDS
I announced that I will have a party with the kids in my city in the post link below
It took me just a day to plan the whole event and to invite the kids over. Most of them I contacted via phone call. I quickly made arrangements for the kids cake which I know will spice up the event and to my surprise, the baker did amazing job and delivered on time. It was @benson6 that helped me pick up the cake and came to the vanue of the event with it.

The party was fixed to start by 4pm or later so that everyone could finish up their worship and be able to attend. It happened that way. I and my family finished up and went to the vanue
Things were arranged with the help of @eliany and @benton3. The banner was hinged at the space available for it. Below long the kids started coming and the party began.

The party begun with the introduction of everyone present, then with questions about steemit and then with the cutting if the steemkids cake

We dismissed at a time that everyone can still get back home though a little late but the fun and enjoyment of little refreshments I provided made the whole thing great 👍👍👍😃😃😃.
Yes, this is just a beginning of more to come. It was planned within a short period of time and it was great. The next one will be more great as more things will be added to grease the occasion.
I appreciate all who made it to the occasion. I also appreciate @eliany and @ddwosky that gave us the space to stay.
One of the things I observed is that not all the kids have steemkids tshirt. Plans are in place to ensure they have it. This will really make the next party to be more colorful and thus we can be able to attract more users but especially the investors that can support the kids
