In today's world, Computers and machines are gradually and increasingly taking important decisions for us. It Is very important to understand wether truly Artificial intelligence is intelligent.
Artificial intelligence can be defined as the concept or theory related to the development of computer systems and machines capable of performing tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visualization, speech or voice recognition, decision making, and language translation. Artificial intelligence is also referred to as machine intelligence because it is very related to machines and computers. Generally it is the programming that is done by humans in the system of a machine that makes it AI.
Well, based on the concept of artificial intelligence, I will not say that it is intelligent. This is because without human intelligence there will be no artificial intelligence.

So to answer this question i will say no. Below are some points to further explain why
- Artificial intelligence, or machines and computers cannot think. They cannot apply common sense in a situation. They only work based on the data provided them
- without programming and commands, the AI will be dormant.
- The AI is only intelligent to the extent of it's programmers. This means that they can only be as smart as the data provided to it by it's programmer.
- the AI will always have problems with understanding human emotions like, sadness, joy, anger, jealousy, shame, guilt no matter how good the programmers try.
In this case I will say yes. The artificial intelligence can help in diagnosis complicated illness. We can see that most of our consultations and scanning done in the hospital are done using machines. Such as heart check up ,x-ray scanner, ultrasound , just to name a few. These are all programed machines that helps to collect data as to finding the cause of patients illness.
Programmed Machines has the potential to provide data-driven clinical decision support (CDS) to physicians and/ hospital staff thereby paving the way for an increased revenue potential. Deep learning is also a branch of AI designed to identify patterns, which uses algorithms and programmed data to give automated information to healthcare providers.
Therefore,Integrating AI into the healthcare ecosystem can allow for multiple benefits, which includes, managing tasks and analyzing large data of patients, sets to deliver better healthcare with shorter time, and at a lower cost.
AI can also help facilitate administrative tasks, like pre-approval of insurance, checking for unpaid bills, and also maintaining records, to help reduce the workload of healthcare personnels and ultimately save them more money.
Yes, its very possible for AI to be a tool for misinformation, like I earlier mentioned. AI is still limited because it will only give you what you give it. There is this computer language acronyn known as GIGO which means Garbagre in Garbage Out.
This means that what ever we program the machine to do that is exactly what it will do. It means that even if it faces a situation contrary to the information that was programmed, it will still give the same result because it doesn't have the ability to create or to think. Though many believe that the AI can be perfect but i say the AI is only acting based on the data it has been provided , therefore if the input was wrong then the output will be wrong as well thereby resulting to misinformation.
I will say yes the AI can be a risk to jobs and humanity. We have seen that over the years since the birth of the industrial revolution, there has been a great increase of the rate of unemployment.

Therefore, in this modern age, the use of AI can result to even higher rates of unemployment because machines and robots will ocupy job positions that were meant for workers.
No, I don't think computers can ever be made to match up humans intelligence. Because First of all , it is man who created computer and man himself is limited because only God is perfect. If we can say one day a computer can have these intelligence as a man it means that we are saying that we can make Man which is impossible because only God can make Man. There are 5 senses in every human being and that is what machines will never be able to have in it's entirety. Yea i know some have been programmed to recognize voice, and also offer words. But the question is who programed it? The answer is human so it's practically impossible for a computer or machine to have the same intelligence as a human.
Well, I will say yes and no. Yes because a robot or a machine can be programmed to hear (voice recognition) but it will still be limited because It can only hear the language it has been programmed to hear. For example if a robot is programmed to recognize English as a language. Then someone trys using another language to communicate with it, that robot will identify it as an error. Likewise speaking , one thing that may interest us to know Is that the Artificial Intelligence is just an attempt to create the real intelligence of humans. Therefore it is just artificial and can never be real so No.
I agree with you that artificial intelligence can help in diagnosing complicated illnesses. That can save a lot of lives.

@newtonb The question of whether computers can match human intelligence is a complex and debated topic. While it is true that humans have created computers and that humans have limitations, it does not necessarily follow that computers cannot surpass human intelligence.

It's very important to note that I gave a reason which is unquestionable. A robot or machine can only be made to do what it was programmed to do. It Is limited to the scope of its programmers. So based on that fact. It will be practically impossible for it to out-run the intelligence of humans. It may be smart and fast but at the end of the day it will only do what it has been asked to do.

Artificial intelligence can never make decisions without the help of human who created them so i agree with you on this.
