Sometimes being a mother is not always having your own baby. But even having your sister’s baby could also be some sort of motherhood. My story is going to be different from the others, I guess. Having a baby is like a roller coaster ride. Your life changes upside down. My one changed too.

So last year February we got to know about this amazing news, and we were over the moon. And then we were counting days to see the angel. Then during the month May, we got to know that it’s baby boy. Now you all can imagine what our house was like that time. Since there were only daughters in our family, my father was so happy after this incredible news. Then on 2nd September 2020, the little bundle of joy arrived. Our lives changed from the day my sister was admitted to the hospital. With each day passed with through with the morning cries to the late-night lullabies. Those were the sleepless nights we had to experience. But indeed, I would our family was very supportive and loving from the very beginning.

So, moving on to the topic, we plan on doing something different with the baby every month. We try various activities and see how he reacts. When he was 7-8 months, we planned on having a pool time with him. We wanted him to be familiar with water and that he would not be feeling scared to interact with water when he grows up.

Each month or maybe twice a month sometimes, we do this pool session. Usually on a sunny Sunday we plan for this small event at our house front open area. Sunday is the rest day, but for us its kind of a working day. 😉 Since everyone is at home on Sundays, we do this. Sometimes he comes around and checks the water level as well.

Motherhood is the highest of all titles. But you don’t have your own child to be a mother. The baby won’t understand who are his or her relatives, family, and all. But the little fellow will surely know who loves them, and then the baby will be with them no matter what. They only understand love. I can’t compare motherhood with anything else, but when a baby shows their love towards us, I think that’s what matters the most. Just imagine a baby jumps all around and runs everywhere with joy when the moment you appear? This is what happens to me every day. You won’t believe me, but this is the truth. He loves me to the maximum from his heart, so do I. I am truly blessed to have a baby like him.

So, we enjoy the pool time very much. This day of the month is quite busy, yet it is ended with so much laughter and tears I would say. Once you fall in love a little human you can never get rid of them. That’s what happens to me. I can never refuse to look twice whenever I’m with him.

As adults, children are the small roots of our society. So, we must teach them good habits and lessons to continue this good nature in the future. I hope all the adults are happy and blessed for what they have.
