SEC17 WK:#3: large and small families, likes and dislikes

Warm greeting everyone welcome to my blog, I'm so happy to participate in this challenge on the topic "large and small families likes and dislikes"

First and foremost what is family?? A family is a group of two or more people related by marriage, birth, blood or adoption who are staying together and there are two type of family the extended family and nuclear family, The extended family comprises of the parents, children, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and so many other relatives living in the same household

while nuclear family or elementary family is a family that consist of the husband wife, one or more unmarried children living in the same household, then once the children get married they leave their parents house to build their own family.

Am from the family of six, Dad, mum, Two boys and two girls my parents made effort to give us the Best life, in terms of feeding, caring,love, education, support in career etc despite the economy of the country we were able to scare through and thats why I like nuclear (small) family.

Growing up wasn't stressful and Rosy at the same time am very grateful to God unlike my mom that had terrible experience while growing up, she's from an extended family of ten(eight children with her parents) she told me she suffered and at some point are parents was separated, her and are sibling were given out to relatives for miner job, house help, nanny, cleaner etc

Because there was No money to Carter for them, my grandparents had to force her to get married to a man then but she refused because she wanted to go to school, so she had to train herself through school to university level..

So me as a young girl I won't like to experience that kind of life and suffering I just want to get married and give birth to at least three children or four so my husband and I can give them the best life they deserve.

Likes of a nuclear family

• There is peace in the family Even though misunderstanding is inevitable but due to the fewer numbers of children conflict and strive tend to reduce and there is harmony among themselves.

• There is family planning, No giving birth to plenty children and member of the nuclear family are ready to carry out the cost and duties in rearing and caring for their children.

• Responsibilities are been handled in the nuclear family, No transfer of responsibility unlike the extended family.

• The wife/mother has sufficient time to nurture,teach and care for the kids and also she has time to maintain and build are home to her best of knowledge.

Dislikes of a nuclear family

• Insecurity of the children, Both parents tend to neglect the children to pursue career which result to No family Bonding Because there's No time to interact with the children, they grow up feeling isolated.

• In a nuclear family there is loneliness, sometimes you don't get to see your children for a long period of time due to schooling, the older one getting married etc.

In conclusion
Due to the economy situation of my country currently I will advise you go for a nuclear family than an extended family to be able to give your family the best.
