"The Roaring Tigress Of India || India's First Gold Medal In Women's Wrestling 💪"

Today i am going to recite you guys a real life story of the man who made his daughter Queen of wrestling , because of whom we won India's first women's wrestling gold 🏅 🥇 medal at the 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games . She is non other but our Gita Phogat .

This is the story of Mahavir Prasad Phogat who lives in our Haryana state of India. Mahavir Prasad was very fond of wrestling, he wanted to win gold medal for Indiainwrestling . He used to perform in wrestling well but due to financial constraints at home, he left wrestling and got a job. His parents also got him married, which broke his dream. His eyes used to shine when he used to watch the match, even after his dream was broken, his love for wrestling did not diminish.

He thought that when he will have a son , he would teach him all the skills of wrestling and he would bring laurels to the country by winning a gold medal for his country. But constantlyhis wife gave birth to daughters , he was disappointed because he thoughthe won't be able to fulfill his dreams anymore . Then a daughter was born for the second time, then for the third time. Now he is quietly doing his job and has completely taken his mind off wrestling.

Mahavir Prasad's two elder daughters started going to school. One day they had a fight with some child in the school. When these girls beat that child, his parents came to Mahavir Prasad and complained. Mahavir Prasad angrily asked his daughters that "how did you fought !? He is very much injured !" then the girls showed Mahavir Prasad's love for wrestling by fighting in the style of wrestling.
That day he realized he can still work for his country and his dreams .

He became the coach of his daughters and started teaching them the skills of wrestling.

The people of the whole village tell him that girls are not taught wrestling, then Mahavir Prasad told everyone that

"My daughters are no less capable than anyone's sons"

Mahavir Prasad's hard work paid off, one day his elder daughter won the gold medal for India and brought laurels to the country.

The name of that girl is Geeta Phogat and a movie has also been made on this story, the name of that movie is Dangal.
This movie has been translated into many languages and released in many countries. It made an international blockbuster hit .

I am proud of Mahavir Prasad Phogat and his daughters ❤ 💕.
