Man and his environment
Good day my follow steemians today i will love to write on the topic man and his environment,but first of all i will love to define man. Man refers to both male and female beings. Man is a social being, because he is always seen in group life.
Environment on the other hand,means surroundings where people, animals, plants,microbes and non-living things are found.
Types of environment
There are two types of environment. They are social and physical environment.
- Social environment
The social environment is made up of people among whom we live,with our style of life, the music and dance we enjoy, the language we speak, the clubs, associations and institutions we belong to,and rules and regulations that control human relationships,so that we don't make one another unhappy. In these ways,our social environment affect us. We can as well influence our social environment by doing things that become part of our social life.

Ways through which social environment influences man
(a) Quarrel over certain issues: Living together in groups or communities breeds misunderstanding and conflict. This situation is natural because it helps to shame human behaviour.
(b) Obedience to laws made by man: The laws made by man limit what an individual can do because the law is on respecter of persons. The law of land stops us from committing crimes such as murder,theft,rape, kidnapping,etc.
(c) social classification: People living in the society tend to associate on the basis of their wealth,income, educational achievements,residential areas,etc. Social classification widens the gap between the rich and the poor in the society. Social class is achievement-oriented. It is not rigid but progressive. Anybody can attain any social class by either hardwork or laziness.

HOW MAN INFLUENCE HIS SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
- Good Governance: Man can contest and win elections through good policies and programmes,he transform his community or country.
- Hard-working: Man through his mental, physical, economic, social political and religious activities produced goods and services for the good of the community or country.
In conclusion i hope that i have been able to talk about man and environment.
