# ▶️ Intro

On this occasion, let's discuss how to unite families so that they can forgive each other, return to being a harmonious family and live together happily.

As a family, we must unite, love each other, help each other and support each other. Not against each other, of course there must be conflicts or problems that cause hostility in the family. To support this discussion, I invite all readers to be able to take lessons from the story of Prophet Yusuf Alaihi Salam and his brother.

The Qur'an specifically tells the story of Prophet Yusuf so that we can all take wisdom, guidance and lessons from the story.

The Prophet Yusuf was the smallest or youngest child, therefore it was natural that his father named Yaqub loved and pampered him more.

Seeing this, the brother of the Prophet Joseph felt jealous, they threw the Prophet Joseph into the well. Even though his brother Joseph had become an adult child and could even hunt, but that's how strange human nature is even though they are adults they still feel like getting more attention and affection from their parents. The fire of jealousy towards his smallest brother was also unable to be restrained.

Long story short, Joseph was found by travelers and sold as a slave, when he grew up he was trusted to work in the palace of the Pharaoh of Egypt. Joseph became the head of government in the country, the power he had did not once use to take revenge on his family. He was the one who was hurt but he forgave his brother.

From the story of the Prophet Joseph above, let us take lessons and important lessons in living this life.

# 🤫 Conflicts between brothers are bound to happen

From the story of the Prophet Joseph above we can learn that in a family relationship or even with siblings there must be problems and quarrels, not necessarily fellow brothers can get along and love each other.

In a family, of course, there must be problems that can eventually escalate into conflict and hostility. Therefore, it is very important to avoid conflict with each other, especially with siblings, avoid problems that can lead to hostility. But the best of people are those who avoid enmity with their siblings.

# 😡 Fire of jealousy and justice

The most stupid thing that the Prophet Joseph's brothers did was when they felt jealous of Joseph who was still a child even though they were adults, it is not appropriate for adults to feel jealous of their younger siblings.

But that is the reality of life, adults will still burn with jealousy if their parents do not provide fair attention and affection. Therefore, it is an important role for every parent not to show favoritism towards their children.

Parents must be able to understand their children's feelings, do not let their children be lulled by the fire of jealousy towards their own siblings or their own flesh and blood. Because this can lead to prolonged conflict and feelings of resentment.

#🙏 Apologizing is a noble act

Apologizing for the mistakes we make is a noble act, but forgiving people who have done evil or hurt us is much more noble. This is what the Prophet Joseph taught us, it should be with the power of government that he had he could reply to his brother's attitude in a more cruel way, but it was not done even the Prophet Joseph replied by providing assistance to his brother when they (his brother) approached the Prophet Joseph when hit by a dry drought.

It is indeed very difficult to apologize, why is it difficult for people to apologize because when someone wants to apologize there will be a sense of arrogance and haughtiness in the heart, feeling the best and right self so there is no need to apologize to others.

There are people who think that apologizing is a characteristic of a weak person. There are also those who think that apologizing means that you admit your mistakes. In my opinion, it is better to be hated by one's own brother to avoid enmity, so start with the word sorry no matter who is at fault.
