Hello friends,

I am @merci26, welcome to my blog. I hope it is an interesting week already for everyone.

I am very happy to be a part of the contest organized in this community @steemkidss. I am glad interesting topics keeps popping up, to help us learn as well as share interesting information.

Well for the purpose of this contest, I will be writing on how beneficial technology and its innovations have been interesting and helpful to me, but before we proceed we need to fully understand some concepts.

Technology might seem to be a very big word to the kids here, but it’s very simple. It’s Just the application of scientific principles to practical life so as to help solve issues facing man. An example is, when we learn theoretically about various machines, applying what we have learned to help get a solution is technological innovation. Technology is applied in various aspect of life, such as in industries, medical field, etc. There are lots of technological innovations, but we will only discuss 5.

• Easy Banking
If we had the opportunity to interact with people who had lived some decades back, we would see how shocked they will be as a result of how technology has helped to improve our banking system. We are able to send and receive money through cryptocurrency using just our mobile devices. It is also true that, of recent people do not need to go to physical banks as well as ATM(Automated Teller machines) stands to collect cash. With the help of POS(pay on sale) machines, people are able to collect cash when and wherever they want.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
This will be one of the best innovations the history of man will ever experience. Humans are stressed with lots of activities especially in the industries as well as work environment. The concept of the Artificial Intelligence is that machines will have to think and provide solutions to the majority of problems faced by man.

• Improved communication
In times of old, use of letters, sign post, burning fire,etc were the means through which information was passed to people. Well, we are in the 21st century and technology has helped to improve communication through the use of Email, as well as the use of devices and applications that aid communication such as our mobile set, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.

• Fast and Easy means of Transportation
We cannot compare the level with which technology has helped made transportation easy presently with old times. During the old times, people have to travel long distance by trekking, bicycle or the use of animals while on land. When traveling through water, they made uses of canoes that are made from bamboo sticks. Of recent, we can travel within split seconds to different places through air by the means of plane. There are tricycles, vehicles and ships as well as boat with life Jackets to ensure easy and safe transportation.

• Improved Healthcare
Technology has helped alot when we talk about healthcare. We have the IVF(In- Vitro Fertilization) which has helped to solve the issue of pregnancy faced by most married people. We also have remedies that has helped to destroy cancer cells as well as facilities that has helped to solve the issue of sickle cell.

Conclusion

The help technology has brought to man, cannot be underestimated. Technology has gone a long way in solving most of the issues faced by man. There is actually no one who would bold say that they have not benefited from the use of technology. Despite the great benefits of Technology, there are still disadvantages, but the benefits out weighs the disadvantages.

I will continue to support and recommend the use of technology to anyone at anytime too.
