Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Sometimes we hurt people at one point or the other in our lives and sometimes we don't even know how deeply they were hurt but then we forget that this simple yet heavy magic word "sorry" can go a long way to help resolve whatever issue we might have with others, permit me to take you through my own perception of sorry.

Sorry means an act of feeling regret and compunction for ones actions. It is also an expression of apology or mild regret which involves telling someone how bad you feel about hunting them. In other words, it means taking responsibility of the mistake we make.

In another view, sorry could be seen to be an act of sympathy one shows about other people's predicament. In a more clearer terms, we could say we feel pity for the bad situations other people find themselves.

Just like every other person, I am not flawless, my actions have hurt other people on different occasions. So I remember this moment I got angry at my junior brother and slapped him and left some marks on his cheek, he cried, I was really feeling bad after doing that, I even had to leave the house to go stay outside because my guilt was was really hitting hard on me.

This even made him sick and I had to spend some amount of money to get him some pain relieve, this was when I realized how weak of a person I was to let my emotions take control over me, maybe I was just being mad at him for lying to me but then, that shouldn't have warrant me to maltreat him that way.

After I saw how bad I had wounded him and the sound of his cry really touched me. I left to stay outside so he can get some air while the whole tension calmed down. After 2 hours, I went back home buying pork meat which I know is his favourite and a fruit juice, then went to his room and told him I was sorry the way I acted up.

However, I knew he wasn't going to say anything and I never wanted him to say he had forgiven me under compulsion, I wanted it to be directly from his heart and willingly so I gave him some time till the next day, then I approached him again to plead for his forgiveness and luckily he forgave me and uptill now, we are still cool buddies, infact, he is my favorite sibling.
