Contest || Silence Allows Violence

Silence they say is "golden", it is of a true that we can't be talking everytime else we will be seen nothing short of nuisance. There are situations that demands silence and if the least word is uttered, it might lead to a gravy circumstance which would've been avoided wth just being Silent.

Personally, silence is a state where there is an absolute zero noise. This is a noiseless situation. In this state, people reflect on their actions and possible step to take in resolving any issue. It is a virtue to some extent while on the other hand, can be destructive depending on what's at stake

Silence gives one an environment of self reflection and stock taking, being silent helps one think straight and remain focus more than talking and talking, infact, the best time to get an answer to situations is from being silent.

Silence has never been in anyway a result of weakness, it dosent speak weakness from any form and sphere. Infact, the most fearless people are silent people. Battles are not won from being a nuisance but careful planning and strategizing which demands some level of silence.

Sincerely, I am always scared of silent people especially if I get to offend them because at some point, I won't even know their next step or what they have in mind to do to me, this is the beauty of silence as it keeps your foes in suspense.

Personally, I will say "No", calculative silence prevents violence. Most of the problems we have today in the world is as a result of trying too harder to be outspoken, the quest to be noticed and the cravings of absolute power. Silence is power that shuts every door of violence.

However, silence could be dangerous if not calculated, reason I am saying is for example, if one who has heard plans from certain group of people to cause mayhems in the society and yet refuses to say a thing because of the fear of being seen as a treator will be not only destroy the society but carry everlasting guilt.

Being outspoken all the time will only make one a nuisance and believe me, your steps won't be a calculative one. There is time for everything, there is time to be outspoken and there is time to remain silent, one should not contradict these two when their situation demands.

As much as one would want to be outspoken, don't let silence be a fallacy, calculative decisions are being made at silent state, great men are raised from the point they begin to make responsible decisions through silence.
