Today I am going to participate in the weekly craft contest organized by @m-fdo sister in "Steemkids & Parents" community. Like every week this week also the main topic of the contest is making any craft. I thank @m-fdo sister who presented such a wonderful contest to us in the absence of "ngoenyi" mam. Anyway, today I came up with a yellow paper craft for the contest that I'm presenting.

What is the name of the craft I made?

Like every week this week I have come up with a paper craft and today the one I made is called Paper Bird which I made with yellow paper. I like to do papercraft the most, so on the subject of today's contest, I have chosen craft to present to you, because of which I have made paper birds.

Bird making materials

• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Black marker.
• Yellow colour paper.

Steps to make a bird

Step 1,

First I take a yellow color paper and cut it to a scale of 21:21 cm square with scissors to make a bird.

Step 2,

Then make a triangular fold on the opposite sides of the square yellow paper and then unfold the paper and make a triangular fold vertically again.

Step 3,

After the triangular fold of the lengthwise triangular folded square paper, fold the remaining part in half upside down.

Step 4,

Now on the surface of the triangular folded paper, make two triangular folds from both sides of the paper.

Step 5,

Then the triangular folded part is folded and inserted into the folded part of the paper.

Step 6,

Now fold the rest of the two sides of the folded paper towards the bottom of the paper.

Step 7,

Now fold the folded yellow paper lengthwise on one side of the paper.

Step 8,

Then fold a small part of the yellow paper folded lengthwise on one side of the paper downwards.

Step 9,

In this step, open the perpendicular fold of the paper and bring the paper back to its original shape and fold the paper in half perpendicular to the lower part of the paper.

Step 10,

In the last step, fold the folded yellow paper again perpendicularly to one side of the paper and draw eyes with a black ink marker on the surface of the paper or on the head of the bird.

How did I get the idea of ​​making birds?

Basically, I got the idea of ​​making this bird after watching the video of a new crafting YouTube channel called "Rumah Origami". I often watch papercraft vedio from youtube and watch videos from different youtube channels as I like it. Also this morning I saw this wonderful bird recipe on this channel which I really liked.

How useful is my paper craft?

The paper craft I made was a beautiful bird made of colored paper which allowed me to express my creativity while making these paper birds and hanging them in the house with fine thread looks very nice. That is to say, this paper craft can play an important role in enhancing the beauty of the home and enhancing the creativity of yourself and other young children, and it can also be used as a toy for young children.

Which kid did I inspire to make this craft?

I inspired my younger cousin while making the paper craft as I have done before. I keep little kids around me while doing these little crafts as it will boost their creativity to make something new. So this morning when I made this wonderful paper bird out of yellow paper, I had my cousin by my side and inspired her to make this craft.
