People will always tell you that they hate chemistry due to one thing or the other. Most likely children will always tell they dont wanna get themselves into chemistry cause of the compounds some of them cant assimilate so they go for simple and lighter courses.
Chemistry, Physics and even Mathematics are some of the courses kids dont like to study and they prefer going for biology, English and so on. Basically, Chemistry is not a difficult subject the same goes for physics and Mathematics but some various factors contribute to the kids not liking the course.
I am here to make the course look very simple to the kids here @steemkidss.

What is Chemistry?

Chemistry is defined as the study of matter and the chemical reactions between the substances. It is also the study of matter and composition, structures and properties. Matter is essentially anything in the world that takes up space and has mass.
Chemistry is sometimes called the "central science" because it bridges physics with other natural sciences such as geology and biology.

History of Chemistry:

Aristotle, the legendary greek philosopher made a little introduction to chemical hypothesis when he defined the four elements, Fire, air, water, earth. Years went on and scientist like Robert Boyle (1627-1691) and Antoine Lavoisier(1743-1794) began to upgrade or add modern transitions to the traditional ones Aristotle gave.

The whole world of chemistry revolves around the 17th - 18th century as advancements in chemistry began at its peak. Chemistry is a broad field and has many parts of which ill make mention to you very soon.

Fundamentals of Chemistry:

The fundamental of biochemistry is an introduction to the periodic table, stoichiometry, Chemical states, chemical equilibra, Acid and Base, Oxidation and Reaction and lots more

Types of Chemistry:

As I stated earlier on, chemistry is a broad field of study and has many specializations.
Traditionally, chemistry has been broken down into 5 parts namely,

  • Organic Chemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Physical Chemistry and
  • Biochemistry.

In our next class, ill be talking on the periodic table as one of the fundamental of chemistry. Do well to stay tuned for the next class
