CAUSE OF RINGWORM
Ringworm is a disease from fungal infection either Trichophyton, Microsponium, Epidermophyyon types. Initially, it was thought to be called ringworm because of its appearance, looking like rings and worm-like on the skin of people which usually spread all through their body, if not properly tackled.
It is worthy of note that ringworms have been named according to where they attack on the body of the victim. For eg,
Tinea corporis - (Ringworm of the body).
Tinea capitis - (Ringworm of the scalp).
Tinea cruris or jock-itch - (Ringworm of the groin) etc.

HOW TO RECOGNISE A RINGWORM
You can recognise a Ringworm if you see the following signs/symptoms;
- You discover a reddish coloured patch in your skin surface.
- The patch starts itching you.
- The patch appears to be round in shape, develops blisters and you discover your loosing hairs on that surface.
*HOW RINGWORM SPREADS
- Human to Human.
- Animal to Human.
- Object to Human.
- Soil to Human.
TREATMENT
Use of Antifungals; this could be inform of creams, ointments, gels, sprays etc.
Healthy lifestyle.
Use if Home remedies (Herbal cure)
The use of herbal cure can be in the following categories;
Apple Cider Vinegar:
Use cotton wool ball and dip it into the apple cider vinegar and apply on the affected spot.Coconut Oil:
Apply the oil on the affected area.Tumeric:
Grate the tumeric and apply water to turn it to an antifungal paste, then apply it where affected.
