Steemkids contest|| who is/was your favorite teacher in school?

Hello dear steemians and steemkids lovers in this community, I greet you all.
So excited to take part in this contest since I never got a chance to tell my best teacher that he was my best I guess it's the time!

Who is/was your favorite school teacher?
My favorite school teacher was my English/literature teacher, Mr mayanja Hannington.

Why was he your favorite?
He was my favorite because he taught my best subjects.
Despite him being a teacher he was also a parent to many students.
He was selfless and always understood you wherever you had a problem.
He took it upon himself to see that the children around him were happy
He wouldn't punish without a student giving him a big reason to and he was quick to forgive the many mistakes that students did.
He was always a smiley teacher and he taught me how to be a good reader.
He gave me a reason to love literature, reading, and writing in that when I joined college I did journalism because of the love for reading and writing he had instilled in me.
He was an amazing teacher, a guide, a parent, an inspiration, and a leader. I believe that the students he still teaches are saying the same about him if as of now he is still a teacher.

What subject does/did he teach you?
He taught me English/literature.

Is /was it your favorite subject?
At first, I did not like it though I took it because of the interest I had.
Then he made me love it and it became my favorite subject.
It's the only subject that I always got excited about attending. he always taught us with a smiling face despite the challenges teachers be having.

In conclusion
Teachers are people who do a lot but are never appreciated. they play a big role in what we become in life. most of the time is spent at school and little time at home.
They deserve the best in life for the heroin role they play in the lives of students.
They carry a big role to see different kinds of students with different characters and do their best to help every student.
At least if one has got nothing to offer, they should always pray for them.
I am glad I got to appreciate all the teachers that had played a role in my life and I am glad that I did it.
