My an overview of how technology has impacted the world as a whole

Technology has filled a tremendous part of our lives and we are getting addicted to the fact that we are finding it impossible to live without it.
It has taken cause in the fields of the education sector, health sector, engineering, agricultural sector, and industrial, not for getting the biggest of all communication.

It's growing so rapidly and so is the world. we have all adopted technological advancement and we have seen how it has transformed this era we are living in positively of course with side negative effects of unemployment. Some technology equipment has replaced people's jobs though life has been made easy and we are growing with it every day.

The positivity and negativity of technology in kids' lives.

Most of our kids got access to technology during lockdown but before that, we always found no need to give them the technology equipment.
The positive impact of technology

• Learning new skills and talents.
  Youtube has always provided videos that are educational to our kids and they have learned a lot of things like DIY, sports techniques, how to draw, and fashion.

• Education sector.
  Technology has made learning easy and effective for kids.
  It has helped them in developing their brain by playing games like word collection, pronunciation of words and letters by watching videos on youtube, and computer skills. simplified their work by using zoom.

On every positive side their always negatives as seen below;

• Poor health.
  Kids spent most of the time on games and this has affected their bodies which has led to poor eating habits, sleeping late and eyesight problems.

• Lack or poor socialization habits.
  Technology has taken over and hence kids don't find time to play with their friends and they are always busy on phones and computers.

• Obsession.
  Technology equipment has got our kids addicted to them in that they no longer see playing football or socializing with their friends not being fun and hence keep putting on their phones and computers.

• Bad exposure.
  Such as pornography and other awful videos which contribute to bad behavior changes in our children.

How I rate the impact of technology in kids' life? highly positive or negative. explain?

I would rate the impact of technology as positive.
The negative impact can be avoided if the parents take measures in controlling their kids and how they use technology.

Technology is the way to go as the world is growing and so our children should grow with it. looking back when there was no technology life was hard and most things were not easily accessed compared to today.
Hence technology is a yes for me all the way.

Can I have control over the exposure of kids to certain technological products. How?

Yes, how kids can use technological products can be controlled, and here is how;

• Create time for our children.
  Most parents have a lot on their minds and prefer their children to spend time playing games and on you tube, then talking to them.
  Hence parents should create immense time for their children to talk, teach them house chores and supervise their kids.

• Put up restrictions on the use of technological products such as parental guidance rules, set up time when not /when to use the products and put passwords on some apps.

• Encourage kids to play outdoor games to kill boredom.
  This will help them to become physically fit and find fun.

• Support our kids in their talents such sports and encourage them to have play dates by telling them the effects of being too much technological products for this will help them learn and find pride their patents support.

In conclusion

Technology us not bad at all but how our kids use it for is what matters.
Parents should be alert and provide time to supervise their children when using the technological products.
We can't live without technology and so we must find ways to make use it positively for our own growth and development.
