Hello, beautiful people of steemkids and kids lovers, a special community on this platform.
Here I am again to participate in this drawing challenge of the "pig".
It's been long but yes, it's better to keep trying than not try at all and so we get better.

Describe a pig.
A pig a fat short-legged mammal, it's omnivorous with stout.
Pigs have thick skin which is covered with short strands.
They have small eyes with standing ears.
Some pigs are black and others are pink in color.
There are some wild pigs as others are domestic.
The young ones are known as piglets
Their meat is known as pork.

What qualities does a pig have?

• Pigs are rational mammals with social behavior and that's why they are kept as pets by some people though they are outside pets because of their ways of living.

• Pigs have really small eyes hence their poor eyesight.
  Pigs have a good sense of smell because of their snout which helps them to smell food that is even underground and dig it up using the snout.

• Pigs do not have sweat glands and hence they roll then selves in mud to cool off.

• Pigs use their tails and ears to communicate how they feel.
  The movement of the tail and ears indicates the volatile state of the pig.

• The pig's separation period is only 4months which is a short time.

• When they are looking for other pigs they use the urine and facial glands to get to them.

Yes, I have seen one before.
At my uncle's home. he has many of them.

Are they important to man?
Pigs are very important to man;

• They are a source of food for man. Pig meat is known as pork. which is consumed by most Christian/people.
  It is known to be very delicious whether roasted or fried.

• They are a source of income for men.
  A man sells pigs to get money so is their meat.

• They are pets. some people keep them as pets though they are outside pets because of their living conditions. they are considered to be dirty that's why they are outside pets.

• The pig's hair is used to make brushes and paint brushes which are sold for money and used for home use and painting.

• Pigs are used in agricultural studies hence they help in educating students.

In conclusion.

Pigs are sophisticated, rational and social mammals.
Though most people do not understand them and can be very dangerous if disturbed.
Most people find them hard to keep at home because of their ways of living.
