Learning does not stop in the classroom alone. Learning is everywhere, it could be indoors and outdoors. For some, outdoor learning is preferable because they believe it helps sharpen their brain and their reflection on things.
Individuals learn and understand differently. Mental picture of inanimate substances one uses plays a vital role in enhancing easy understanding. What one uses a tree to attribute can stick effectively because anytime he sees a tree,his mind runs back to what it symbolizes.
Outdoor learning involves the use of natural and inanimate things to meet students' curriculum. This could be done through excursions, camping trips, visiting a park, hiking, outdoor gaming, sitting out among students and teachers for academic objectives. Learning through this means helps improve academic performance.
Outdoor education is mostly organized by schools, parents, nature centers among others. It is something that is to be taken seriously by parents because it helps in the educational improvement of children and adults.
IMPORTANCE OF OUTDOOR LEARNING.

Outdoor learning helps students to be committed to learning. As much as they are learning in the classroom, they still have the zeal to learn anywhere they find themselves outside. They have this mindset of learning everywhere. They try to learn something meaningful in any environment they find themselves in.
PASSION:
They have this driven force of outdoor activities. It will turn out to be a fun activity cultivated in the life of kids.They talk about the experience to others thus improving their zeal. It will grow their happiness level because it is something they explore and learn .
INTERACTIVENESS:
Outdoor learning improves communication skills among students. Outdoor learning involves individuals rubbing their minds with one another thus improving quality learning. They will be able to share ideas, understand things using symbols and also provide problem solving means.
LOVE FOR LEARNING NEW THINGS:
There are many things that won't be explained effectively in the classroom but with excursions and outdoor activities, students get to learn the benefits, the danger involved and educators will have the opportunity to teach students how to love their environment.
Thank you for your educative post. Indeed indoor learning alone cannot do justice to children's education because at that age they are very active and they wants to know everything. Introducing outdoor learning will facilitates learning.
