Children are free gifts of God to humanity. It's expedient that proper attention be given for their all facet development.
Some of these concise Strategies include but not restricted to the the following.
ENVIRONMENT.
I feel environment is key in child's educational journey. This environment consist of both biotic and abiotic components. The kind of environment created either at home or school determines the learning process of a child. Practically, my first son started his academic journey from the house. We were able to equip the house with varied instructional materials in order to make him ready for school. Sincerely we succeeded in creating a good environment from home and at school things were so easy for him to grasped.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM.
There must be good communication network between parents and the child. When there's no good communication at home it is also transferred to the school. In order to motivate your ward to learn very fast then communication should not be taken for granted. Choose the language suitable and apply it properly.
DESIGN THE CHILD'S INTEREST.
What motivates children to learn is their level of interest. It's the duty of the parents to discover the interest, or the desire of their children. Once this is done, it creates sense of belonging and arouse the child to learn more. Parents should not impose their personal interest on their children it won't motivate them to learn.
CHILDREN'S GAME.
It should not just be work and work only but there are good educational games in the bookshops that enhance the learning process of a child. Some of these games quickens and refreshes their brain a lot. Therefore parents should make effort to acquire some affordable ones.
NUTRITION OR GOOD FEEDING.
This is a superb strategy in motivating a child to learn. Many don't learn very well because of hunger and lack of balanced diet especially in the African countries. When the child is not properly fed it certainly affect the level of assimilation. There's an adage that says a hungry man is an angry man. Children should be fed properly to avoid all manner of distraction both in school and at home.
I don't intend to write more than this because there are thousand of strategies to motivate children however the aforementioned ones are the extent to which I was able reason about.
