Weekly Drawing Contest 02 | Drawing of Flower Vase

A flower vase is that container that holds some flowers. They are kept for their ornamental value and while you can create one from a simple jug, glass or bottle. Some flower vases are expensive ornaments even without any flower in it. In this contest organized by @m-fdo, I will be drawing a flower vase with a flower inside it.

Needed Items

The following materials are needed for drawing a flower vase.

Tools	Qty	Function
An A4 paper	1	used as a canvas,
A Pencil	1	for sketching
A Sample	1	to look and draw
An Eraser	1	for cleaning errors
Some Crayons	1 Pack	to apply colour
Nokia C30	1 Pack	for capturing the steps

Procedure

Create a conducive environment which supports concentration and place the Sample and other materials in close proximity.

Step 1

The first few lines often do not look promising when sketching a drawing, but with more lines and shades, the shape starts coming out a lot clearer...

The lines have started to convey a message as it looks a little like what we are hoping for...

Here I gave the vase a opening followed by a handle

At this point I sketched in a flower

the sketch is now ready for more shading and colouring...

Conclusion

Now my flower vase is ready and I will be taking it for a selfie. The flower vase is fragile and that is one of their characteristics,
