WEEKEND DIARY: attending our assembly and visiting the farm to harvest cassava plants||10% to steemkidss

Hello friends. Today I want to share my weekend diary with you. I hope everyone is well and in good health. Today I will summarize my weekend(sat.and sun.) activities in this post.

Saturday

Yesterday was Saturday and we were very immersed in spiritual activities. Studying Gods word during our assembly. The theme of the day was Exercise faith.
We learnt from the bible that we need to show strong faith in God and be convinced of he truth that we have.

We especially considered the examples of Timothy, Esther and Isaac and Rebecca. These three exercised strong faith in Jehovah God and we are encouraged to imitate their faith. The program is divided into two sessions. The first one is in the morning while the rest is in the afternoon after a short break.
The program took almost the whole day. I always enjoy such programs because I get to learn many things from God's word the bible.

We always go to our assembly hall to do the program by from last year we've been doing it from home using the zoom and other medias some times. This is due to the virus that broke out and so in other to protect ourselves we have our meetings from home.

Soon the program was over and we continued other activities for the day till it was over and we went to bed.

Sunday

Because of the special program on Saturday, we didn't have our Sunday meetings today.
But today was turned into a working and cleaning day.
I started with washing the worn clothes in the house. I had to wash them with hands since there was no light since today due to some problems. After washing the clothes I started to mob the house to remove dirt's and dusts.

After all the cleaning, we went and prepared other things and then the breakfast. I even forgot to take picture of the food because I'm I was hungry, hahaha.
After cleaning the dishes, we got ready to go to the farm to harvest some cassava plant.
We soon got to the farm and saw that the plants was already due for harvesting.

So we started to dig and to uproot them. They were so many that we couldn't even finish it that same day. We took the amount we could do and planned to come back another day.

After cultivating, we started to peel the cassava there. We peeled everythung there and packed in our bags. We would use it for Tapioca dessert when we get home.

After peeling them, we packed them inside the bag and started going.

We got home and washed them and set them to be used for the dessert. To make we have to cook the cassava for a while and then slice.
So we put them in the pot and started cooking. It will cook for a little while and then we bring it down.

After cooking them, we took it aout and allowed it to cool off. Then we began to slice them to the shape of the tapioca.

After that we soaked it in water to ferment. It will be ready the next day to eat.
