Your son will surely be a successful person in the future, he can be proud to have a good dad like you who always protect him from danger. Technology will be harmless for kids if parents guide them well.
True, technology will not harm children if we parents always monitor what he is doing. Don't be like a gun after it explodes whether it's on target or not he doesn't want to know.
