Homework post for business lesson 105| marketing strategy
Friends, I'm happy that the educational classes are still ongoing seriously in the community. The lesson 105 of the business lesson has been released since Wednesday and this time we are learning about marketing.
We learnt that marketing is very important for any business to be successful and also we were able to learn about the two categories of marketing which is core marketing and disruptive marketing.
For our homework, the teacher left a video in the post and asked the following questions:
Was it a good or bad campaign?
• Why do you think so? (Give 3 good reasons to motivate your answer)

After carefully watching and rewatching the video, I have come to the conclusion that the campaign is a good one.
The advertisement keeps ringing in my head till now, haha.
For the following reasons, I say that the campaign is a good one
- It informs customers of the need for the product making reference to a situation that needs to be solved.
I don't know what that tokoloshe means, but I think it's a situation in south Africa, that scares people or make them leave their home. The campaign makes reference to that problem and tells people how their product or service can help them solve the problem.
The campaign informs the audience of an opportunity to get a good property for rent or purchase.
- Simple and easy to remember
The campaign was kept simple but straight to the point, no one gets bored watching it and is even an excitement to do so.
The enthusiasm of the video shows they business is proud of their products. The design of the video content is also very superb,and the best part is the message is not hidden or difficult to understand. The campaign tells a lot about the business.

- Uses the right channel
The campaign makes use of the right channel, the social media platforms is a great place for marketing businesses. Since it was a interactive campaign, the social media is a good place as many visit there and they'll have to watch the campaign video and will likely share it to others.
I just wrote according to how I understood the video, I may be wrong in my observations. But I believe I've done my part and have carried out the homework task given.

A tokoloshe is as you’ve understood it. It is like the “boogeyman” in other countries. For many many years it’s been an ongoing debate whether it is real or not. 😊
As for the jingle, it is catchy and it stays in your head. You just cannot get rid of it.

Wow this is interesting dear, campaign is just one of the best means of advertising your business to your customers, people will always remember the campaign and go for your products, using the right channel too is great because you need where people will see your products the must which will help you make good sales, social media is the best option since it will get to many people and will have a lot of shares.
