Homework post for Business lesson 102 – How to start your own business
Hello friends, greetings to all members of the community. This is my homework post for Business lesson 102 – How to start your own business presented by @patjewell.
From the lesson, I learnt for the first time that there is a difference between a customer and a client.
Customer is the person that buys a product a product from our company. While a client is a person to which we offer services regularly in exchange for money.
From the task given to us, we were told to review the Candle Makers business and answer the questions below:
Is this a client or customer operating business?
Who is the target market?
What is the demographics?
What is the need?
What is the budget?
After reading about the company from the lesson post, I'm going to give my answers to the given questions.
The candle Makers
According to the teacher, the candle Makers is a business that sells candles through online means.
Is this a client or customer operating business?
The candle Makers deals on products which is the candle and they deliver it to their customers. So they are a customer operating business.
Who is the target market?
Every business should have a target in mind before starting up. For the candle Makers, their target is to reach 750,000 people with their products. To be able to achieve this, they need to put in effort through advertisements and other means
What is the demographics?
According to the lesson, their customers are located in the large metropolitan cities on the West Coast
What is the need?
Every customer wants buy high quality products that will last long and that will give them satisfaction So for this company, the customers need hugh-quality candles that are made with natural ingredients...
If ever this company fail to provide them with quality products, then there will be no valuable customers and there will be no success in the business.
What is the budget?
The average income of their customers is $75,000 yearly and that is the budget.
Hopefully I've been able to answer on all the questions that was given to us.
