Hello beautiful friends and lovers of kids. I am very happy to be participating in this beautiful contest by @steemkids. Please continue reading as I am about to share my viewpoint about the above question.

From my own viewpoint home should have more influence.

This post centers on the reasons why I choose the home to have more influence.
As the saying goes "everything starts from the home"
The home influences what the child believes and care about. A child who receives home training tend to do better academically, emotionally, physically and morally. This training enhances their development in all other areas of life including school.
A stimulating home helps to provide development to the brain of a child. When parents work along with the teacher to instill lessons on the child he will be more likely to do better academically. Though educators play a vital role in child development, it's primary objective should be to support parents in providing a productive and responsible adult.

What the kids are being taught in the home is what influences their value, socialisation, skills and much more. Little wonder when a child behaves in a certain way we hear people say "is that what your parents taught you?". Really then when parents instill good qualities such as obedience and respect in their children they will be more likely to be better students who respects the school authorities and their seniors. In absence of these qualities the kids may resort to joining a bad group and disrespecting the school authorities.
These qualities can only be instilled in children by parent's examples and conduct. What a child is taught in the home influences him when he goes out there. When parents Instill good morals in their children they will more likely be able face pressures at school.

When parents develop strong relationship with their children the kids will not want to disappoint them. They do their best to live by what they were taught by their parents because of their love for them.

Without home training and support from parents a child will not have the ability to cope with failure and pressure and this will affect his success in the classroom.

Researches has shown that spending quality time with children, setting boundaries and monitoring protects the child from risky behaviours. This can only be done in the home by parents. The school focus on group of students but the home focuses on individual.

It's only in the home that children are asked the following questions :
Where are you going? Who are you going with? What will you be doing? When will you be home? These questions helps the child to beware of dangerous activities which can affect their future.

Kids learn more from the example of their parents. They take notice of every activity the parents perform. When parents have good values it will influence the child positively as every child wants to be like his parents. Little wonder we see children applying their mother's makeup kits or typing on their father's laptop, that is because of what they see them doing so they are imitating them. Kids are like foam which absorbs everything their parents does.

Lack of parental influence or home training can affect the child in the following ways:

Impulsivitya Child who lacks home training will always act on impulse when situations arise. He doesn't think before acting.
AggressionA child who lacks parental guidance or home training will grow up to be an aggressive adult. One who doesn't care much about others and who doesn't value relationship and family.
NoncomplianceA child who lack parental influence are more likely to show noncompliance to authority.
low self-esteemwhen there is lack of parental influence the kids are more likely to be affected by low self-esteem. The opposite happens when the child receives home support, They will be better confident and firm.
Grade point average (GPA)a Child who receives home influence are more likely to have higher grades. They may reason that their parents will get disappointed if they don't pull their grades up.

If a house is not built with fire resistance material or strong foundation, it will not last long. It will quickly be driven away by strong wind. So also if children doesn't have strong or solid foundation, they are less likely to be successful in their relationship with others. They will quickly be driven away so to speak by pressure and more.

A Child begin learning from home. Once he is born he begin learning some language skills, emotional skills, motor skills, etc. All these he learns from the family. Even if you put a child in daycare, the time and effort the parents put in teaching these skills is much more effective.
Yes parents are the first to assume the role of a teacher for his child.

I am writing all these from what I have observed, and from what I have read.
