Greetings to everyone

It's always my pleasure to participate in the cooking challenge for each week. This week I made something that is very delicious and as well nutritious to the body. This food is called the Oto-mboro and it is made from the unripe banana.
The food Challenge contest is really a great contest to help the children develop cooking skills. Today I tried out the preparation of the local food of the Ibibio people. With the help of my aunt @ngoenyi I was able to achieve what I did today.
Watch out as I show you the step it took to make the food .

Below you can find the ingredients that I used to prepare it:

  • Unripe bananas
  • Fresh fish
  • Dry fish
  • Periwinkles
  • Fresh pepper
  • Palm oil
  • Scent leave
  • Salt
  • Seasoning cube

After getting the ingredients ready, I began the Preparations for it.
First step I took was to peel the bananas. Then grate it using a local grater. It will look like a paste after grating.

Whiles grating, I washed the fish and started to steam it using the fresh pepper, onions, seasoning cube and salt along with the periwinkles.

Later I also washed the dry fish with hot water and added it to the fresh fish in the pot and added a little water to it.

After adding water to it allowed time for it to boil. When the it was boiled, I put the palm oil in it and also covered it to boil for together.

After some time, I uncovered the pot and started molding the bananas into small balls and puting it into the mixture.

Without stirring, I covered it to heat up and so that the balls will form.
After a while I opened the pot and stirred the bananas balls together in the post. After stirring, I put the scent leave that I already cut into it and stirred everything together
