Food Challenge for Children week#3|| #Club5050||10% payout to steemkidss
Hello friends, it's my to be writing once again. I'm sorry I haven't written you for long but due to my illness I was not able to write. I thank God I'm better today. Hoping for complete recovery soon.
I write this post as my participation in the food challenge for kids in steemkids community. Below I will show the meal I prepared and the steps I took in making it.
For the food challenge I prepared Porridge plantain. It's a healthy delicacy that also works wonders in the body. Though many children do not like it but it's good for the benefit of our health.
For the porridge I used the following Ingredients:
Yam | crayfish |

Onions | seasoning cube |
Turmeric | pepper |
Salt | palm oil |
Vegetables (pumpkin leave) | |

That's all the ingredients I used for the food. Below I'll share the procedures I took.
I prepared for the cooking by cutting the onions, pounding the fresh turmeric and crayfish.
Procedure
First step
I cut the yam into smaller shapes/cubes and washed

Next step
I put water and salt in a pot and allowed it to heat up and then added the yam into the water allowed the yam to soften.

When the yam finally softened I made the water to be the same level with the yam in the pot and then added the onions,seasoning cube Turmeric,pepper

I then stirred it and added the palm oil to it and gave it 5 minutes to cook

I then washed the vegetables and cut because I will add it next to the mixture. After cutting I added the vegetable to the mixture and allowed it to cook for 1 minute.

That is all I could make out for this week's food challenge. I thank my aunt @ngoenyi for assisting me in making the meal as well.
