It's true that some students are doing better for themselves during this time, but the goal was always to get a degree within four or six years, not to prolong it to five or ten. A shout-out to the young people who work hard and choose not to waste their time on social media by utilizing it intelligently, especially on the Steemit app.

A Nigerian degree should typically take four years to complete, including project defense, however this is no longer the case. Nobody attends school for fewer than five years again due to ongoing strikes, unless they are enrolled in a private university.

I am familiar with a group of students who had strike effects upon returning to their 100-level classes. A few months later, the Covid-19 outbreak occurred, lasting for almost a full year. The strike didn't finish right away. The strike was then put on hold at the beginning of last year, only for it to resume this year. Oh my god, this is out of control.

Now, the majority of our pupils have chosen to pursue tiktok as a popular industry. The GENZ generation, who utilize the camera to accomplish anything anyway they see fit, dominates the social media sphere.

Nothing positive appears to be occurring any time soon, and this has gone on for much too long. Everyone is worried about the upcoming elections because they have put Nigerian educational concerns on hold. No matter how the public attempts to raise the issue for quick action, nobody seems worried.
