Good day steemians!

Today, is the schedule for the interview and oral reading of Matheena for her application of Special Science Class. At first, I dont want to apply her for the said class because I dont want Matheena to get pressured. But in the long run, I notice her that he can go along with those kids in higher rank. And my colleagues also told me that it is better to let her apply in SSC so that if ever she will not be chosen, she has a greater chance to be part of Pilot Class which is next to the SSC. It is better to be part in SSC or Pilot class than the regular class. Because in regular class, you wont know their attitudes whereas in SSC or Pilot class you are confident enough that this kids are studious and alert. And hoping for the best. I never pressure Matheena, I just told her to enjoy the interview and smile while answering whenever the teacher will ask her something.

I am confident of the interview because I know Matheena can make it because she is a bit talkative and know how to make stories. So, I just focus her on reading because she is still tuttering. So, for this week and last week, since we were in Modular class, I lessen her screen time so that she can have her focus and will not forget what we practiced. I notice that if Matheena will keep on playing her tab, she will lost her focus and couldnt read. She just keep on thinking on her tab. So, to cut it I just lessen her screentime and let her understand why I do it.

Good thing, Matheena is a snart girl and understand what I say.

After few days of our reading tutorial, she is now enjoying and smile in the camera. As of the moment, she is not that really a fast reader yet she can recognize words and sentences already. And I guess it is not too bad in her age because as of the moment, she is still 5 years old. And for me it is amazing that the kid in that age already knows how to read.

At 10am today is their interview and their oral reading. I hope that Matheena can make it. On May 2-3 is their talent portion which is 30% of their rating. And I am still thinking what piece will Matheena will be singing because she loves to sing. And during the talent portion they had to wear some costume. A bit pressure but at least, Matheena will be practice to face the crowd and hold the microphone.
