Greetings to my fellow steemians and happy new month, I hope you all are enjoying you day, it's always my pleasure to participate in contest like this and it happens that this time around it's all about "THANK YOU" a words that has several impact on people lives, journey with my as I share my thoughts about the word THANK YOU.
What is thank you and on what occasions can one say it (5 different occasions) |

In my little sense of understanding, thank you is a simple word that signified/express gratitude and appreciation, thank you can be say in several ways let's get down to it
| When receiving a gifts from friends or relative |

We're in the period of time when people give and receive gifts from friends or relative, to make the giver proud or encourage, it's nice to appreciate by saying thank you.
| Being favour or forgiven |

This is also the period people get favour, someone might show us favour by offering us amount of money for free, at this point people do appreciate by the word of mouth by saying thank you.
| Getting the opportunity to work |

We all understand how complicated it is to get a job that pays a good amount in this our lack of job opportunity country, people do appreciate and say thank you when they're lucky enough to find a good job.
| Getting food from our parents |

It's not easy for most of our parents out there to provide us food, it took them a lot of sacrifice and hardwork to work and feed us since our childhood, we can light up smiles on our parents face by showing gratitude by saying thank you because they deserve our thank you.

The free gift of life given to us by God is a big reason to thank God, God shown us a perfect love by sending his only begotten son on earth to die and give us the opportunity to live everlasting life on paradise, isn't it the highest reason thank God? Telling God thank you describe how gratitude and happy towards the love he shows us.
How important is thank you and who should say it? |

Thank you is deeply crucial in our live, it's possible to make people proud and feels good by just saying thank you, thank you can encourage people to stay positive and put head on doing good deeds, thank you can put smiles on people face, the word thank you is indeed important.
Thank you can be said by people who is receive favour or gift from other's people.

I remembered when I said thank you to my uncle when he came back from Lagos state, he was happy that I appreciate him and I was happy and smiling when he said some positive words about me, he encouraged me to always say thank you, according to him he said that thank you is a word people find difficult to say
Your advice on saying thank you |

Did you know that King David in the bible took it as a great thing to say thank you that was why he praised and thank God? (1chronicle 29:13), you see!! saying thank you is crucial especially when we've been favoured.
To all of you reading my post, I huge y'all to always say thank you because it doesn't cost a dime, you can be the reasons of someone smile and happiness, you can be appreciative and praising by just saying thank you, once again don't forget to say thank you to God each and everyday you wake up to see yourself among the living, God greatly deserve our thank you.

Did you know that the Bible tells us to give thanks 73 times and the words "thank you" appears in verses +/- 100 veses?
So.. let's give thanks!
I'm happy to say "thank you" for adding value to my post, although I knew the bible advice us to give thanks, I didn't actually know the number of times the word "thank you" is written in the bible, thank you for letting me know about this.
