Greetings everyone and my fellow contestants, its with great pleasure to participate in this amazing brainteasing contest. Firstly I thank @manuelhooks for organising this contest. Crossword puzzle has been one of my favourite games although sometimes I get to miss some words but trust me it fun. So when I saw this contest I was so excited and after battling with it for some hours I came up with this as answers:-

For Clues Across:

[A1] A simplified markup language created to help in the formatting of plaintext.

Answer: Markdown (because its a library of characters us to generate markup language for content formatting).

[A11] One of the main pillars of the steemtravel community.

Answer: Culture (steemtravel community promotes culture diversity)

[B3] A collection of Steemian who are interested in the welfare of children.

Answer: Steemkids (this community's target audience are kids)

[E8] The name of a blogging platform built on a crypto blockchain that rewards it's users for posting high quality content.

Answer: Steemit (because it a platform that rewards it user for their high quality post)

[F13] That which protects an intellectual property.

Answer: Copyright (it protects intellectual property)

[H15] A situation where tagging is abused to attract attention.

Answer: Spamming (unsual and unsolicited tagging of someone)

[I5] A competition organized by Steemian for Steemian.
Answer: Contest (contest are organised by steemians for steemians)

For Clues Down

[A4] A great post must have a target and it is created for this audience.

Answer: Specific ( a good post cannot be designed for everyone, but for specific set of people)

[C5] The profession who's skills are needed to make a better Diary Game.

Answer: Journalism (they keep records of events and activities)

[E1] The thought of becoming a whale someday in the future.

Answer: Dreams (having a big thought of being famous or rich)

[G3] A kind of power you gain and grow and it makes you Steem better.

Answer: Knowledge (knowledgeable makes one steem better )

[I5] A group of Steemian with the same interest.

Answer: Community (competition are organised by steemians for steemians in a community)

[k10] A post that speaks ill of people from a different country could be flagged for this characteristic.

Answer: Racism (discrimination and prejudice of people in other countries)

[M2] I have Steem power which I can't power down.

Answer: Delegation (when one delegats a Steem power, he/she cannot withdraw)

[O5] A post that is making waves on the platform.

Answer: Trending (a post that calls attention on the platform)

Crossword Format

This word puzzle really took a lot of my time trying to slove it, although I might not get them right but it was really fun for me and it has been a while i did something like this, so i plead on @manuelhooks to please do this again.
