For a better understanding let look at the acronym Co. The acronym Co simply means join, common or mutual. So it safe to say that co-education is an educational system that allows boys/girls to study in the same environment (class room).

I will definitely prefer and allow my children to attend the co-educational center. So that they will have a wider knowledge, self-esteem and development. In the proceeding paragraph, I will enumerate the many reasons why I will allow my children to attend co-educational center.

Personality is a distinctive quality or character that form a person. So allowing your child at early age to attend co-educational school with other gender will increased the childs knowledge, help them to understand the importance of coexisting or collaboration, because men/women work together in home and offices.
Co-education shape their personalities by introducing them to different perspective in life. They benefits from high levels of social skills, increased self-esteem. They share new experience and gained fresh ideas, they turn out to be well prepared, confident and resilient adults that are ready for a world where both girls and boys play the same role.

MERITS
Permit collaboration
Increased self-esteem
Increased social skills
Respect for both gender
It break down gender stereotypes and foster gender equality
It increased healthy competition
It overcome fear of opposite sexal and bring about mixed gender extra curriculum activities like sports.
DEMERITS
Bullying
Distraction and sexual arrangements.
In conclusion, though every individual has a choice to choose whether to send his or her child to co-educational or special (boys or girls)schooling center, I strongly believe in co-educational schooling center because of it high levels of merits.
