Greetings ladies and gentlemen.. how are you fairing today? Hope you and your family is in good health.. it's always my pleasure to welcome you to my blog post. In this content, we are going to learn how to make a papelon top. Let's begin;

What is the name of what you have made.

Creativity is fun..!! I made a papelon top for myself. It's very simple, easy to make and sew. It's a very creative thing everyone can do both parents and kids.

Steps on how you made the craft

Here are few steps of how I made my papelon top;

Step 1:
Firstly, I folded my material into 4, bringing out 2 inches for my zip allowance.

Step 2:
I placed all the measurements and marked it including my shoulder, arm hole, bust, under bust, half cut, half length, waist, and top length. Then, I traced it and cut it, and started sewing from the back part of it.

Step 3:
Next, I began to join the two back of the top and the shoulders too.

Step 4:
Then, I also joined the neck of the front of the top and the sides too.

Step 5:
Then, I now cut the flair and also the linen, joined and stitched both of them together, ironed it for a neat work.

Step 6:
I now began to attach and join the flair I made to the cloth to give it a fitting.

Step 7:
After putting the flair, I sew my zip which was 20 inches.

Step 8:
Lastly, I then cut the hand of my top and joined it together with my cloth. The papelon top is ready.

How did you get the idea?

I got the idea from my aunty who is into tailoring. I just sat down and watched her when she sew hers. I then brought my material and told her that I want to make the top she just made. She directed me on what to do and it was a success.😊

How useful is what you have made?

At least this top I made, I can use it to go to church, outing, meeting, rehearsal, work, etc. I can wear to so many places I desire and want. So, it's very useful and important to me.

Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?

I tend to inspire my little sister who is also interested in the aspect of sewing and fashion designing, and also acknowledge people in my society to develop theirself physically, mutually, and otherwise.
