Greetings kids, friends and moderators in steemkids Community.. hope everyone is doing great?? Once again, am so elated and delighted to take part in this week Contest, and also I want to use this medium to appreciate @eliany for organizing this contest for the kids. Let's start..🙂

Describe An Ant

Ants are skinny and social insects. They have a large head and a slender round abdomen joined to the thorax, by a small waist. All ants lives in structured nest but most of them prefer to live in a nest that is located in the ground or under a rock which is built above ground and it is made of twigs. The food that ants consumes consists of both plant and animal substances. The life cycle of an ant has four stages including; egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The social behavior of the ants and honeybees is the most complex in the insect world.

What Can We Learn From The Lifestyle Of An Ant

Proverbs 6:6 says "Go to the ant thou sluggard, consider it's ways and be wise." We learnt a lot of things from the life pattern of ants. So below here are listed things we should get to learn from ants;

• Excellent strategic planning. Ants teaches us the necessity and the purpose to plan and look ahead.
• They store their food during dry seasons, so that they will have enough amounts in times of scarcity.
• Ants are very industrious, resourceful and hardworking creatures.
• They also plan seasons of work and of rest to prevent burnout or famine.
• Ants teaches us the value of hardwork. Laziness does nothing but encourages us to keep procastinating and remain in lack. Ants are never lazy!!*

What Significant Role Do They Play In Human Life

Ants are really necessary in human life. They carry seeds and helps plants disperse into new areas. Ants are social insects and as a matter of fact, they explain a great deal of their success. They also build nets and constructs tunnels in the ground which improve the soil significantly.

Have You One Before? If Yes, Where?

Yes. Ants are found almost everywhere on the planet. So, I have seen ants so many places which includes; in my compound, my house, in the market, my workplace, etc.

Are Ants Dangerous To Man? And What Are Their Bad Effect

All ants are capable of biting but they aren't dangerous, rather their bad effect is that they spread bacteria and also causes serious allergic reactions in the body. In other words, if an ant bites you and you don't clean or treat the affected area, your skin becomes infected or irritated.

Conclusion

In Summary, Ants are colonies which has a superior ways of planning ahead of time. So in order for us to have a good time planning, I encourage all of us to go and learn from the ants. Thank you all!!
