"Weekly Contest 15" || The Diary Game | How I Spent My Day

Greetings awesome friends.. How are you doing today? And your family? Am sure you've been good.. It's really been a while since i last posted here. I have been inactive for sometime now due to some problems and circumstances. But nevertheless, am back now..😊 Today, I will be sharing with you on how I spent my day. Just read on;

MY DIARY GAME

Today, being Sunday is always a day of joy, happiness and overwhelming testimonies for me. I woke up around 5:45am in the morning. I knelt down and said my prayers. I dressed my bed, then left to do my house chores. The weather was cold this morning, so I had to boil water for bathing. Immediately I was done doing my chores, the water was boiled. I took it and had my shower.

Before 7:05am, I was dressed up already for church. I don't usually eat before going to church so that's why I didn't get any picture of my breakfast. So, I just dished out food for my little cousins and I left for church. Am a chorister in my church and that's why I didn't want to be late to church in order not to warrant punishment from the church board. I left my house by 7:20am and before 7:30am, I was in church.

When I got to church, the service has already started. I joined the service. We praised, danced, worshipped and gave thanks to God. Indeed, today's service was glorious and fill with joy. When church dismissed by 12pm, I headed home immediately because I had things to do and sort out. When I got home, my sister had already prepared lunch which was rice and stew. I rushed and remove my cloth because I was famished. I pounce on the food and ate to my satisfaction.😄

I had clothes to wash, but I decided to rest a little bit. When I done relaxing, I started to wash my clothes and soon a knock came on the door. I went to check who was knocking and it was my neighbor's son. He said he's having a birthday party at their house and we should come celebrate with them. I was happy to hear that because I love going out and attending birthday parties. Hurriedly, I rounded up with my washing, dressed up, and left for the party.

When I got there, the party has already started. We prayed for her, blessed her, sang birthday song for her, and entertain ourselves. I enjoyed her birthday celebration. It was really a time of fun, excitement and joyous. The birthday really took time and before I could get home, it was already 6pm. It was my turn to cook, so I was meant to prepare African salad which we call (Abacha) in Igbo. I prepared it and dished out for everyone.
