Good day friends.. How are you doing? Trust things are moving as planned.. It's my pleasure to participate in this week's contest. Today, I will be sharing with you on how to cut and sew a gathers gown.

How To Make A Gathers Gown

Everyone on planet earth has clothes to wear. This is the main reason why fashion is never outdated. Everybody wears clothes everyday in order to look nice. So, clothes is very necessary in our daily life. Am a fashion designer and I love everything about fashion. So, I going to take you on the simple steps on how to make a gathers gown. Actually, I made this gown for my little sister and she was very happy.

Below here are few steps on how to make a gathers gown. But, there are some necessary equipments needed which includes;

• Material.
• Scissors.
• Tape.
• Tailor's chalk.
• French curve or ruler.
• The person's measurements.
• Zipper.
• linen.

Step 1:
• I placed my material into four bringing out the zip allowance, then I began to take her necessary measurements which includes; shoulder, bust, half length and waist.

Step 2:
• Next, I trimmed it off to get the actual measurements which includes the extra 2 inches for allowance.

Step 3:
• So, because its a gathers gown, I cut out the gathers part. Then, i squeezed the gathers to her exact waist measurement.

Step 4:
• Next, I began to turn up side of the cloth. I turned the neck, armhole and the sides.

Step 5:
• I joined the shoulders and closed the both sides of it using her measurements.

Step 6:
• I joined the already squeezed gathers to the up part making sure its her actual waist measurement.

Step 7:
• I brought my zip, I began sew it to the my zipper allowance.

Step 8:
• Lastly, I closed the gown and made sure that all the measurements taken came out correctly on the cloth.

Step 9:
• Guys, here is the outcome.. How does it look on her..?😊
