Hello ladies and gentlemen.. I trust you are okay? Hope you and your family are doing great.. I want to use this medium to appreciate you for visiting my post and in today's discussion, we are going to discuss about the need to impact moral values in our youths. Let's begin;

THE NEED TO INCULCATE GOOD MORAL VALUES IN THE YOUTHS

Good moral values is a standard foundation of good governance and nation building and no society can thrive without it. Morals are principles of right and wrong behaviors. Good moral values needs to be impacted that is because our youths are the future of our nation. It paves way for good governance in the present and future.

Take for instance, when Abraham Lincoln was still alive, he learnt the values of being honest, self- reliance right from his tender age. He learnt the pratical lessons of honesty. He grew to become one of the memorable president of America. So, good moral values paves way for trust, honest, fair, equity, and justice.

Presently, our youths have degraded to an high level of moral indecency, youths are often more concerned with individual than responsibilities. In our universities now, the rate at which youths perform outstandingly is low compared to our previous generation. Why? This can be traced to a breakdown of moral values. Our youths now prefers engaging theirselves in partyings, chatting on social media, prostitution, cultism, immorality, lesbianism, rape, etc. This is a major reason why we need to inculate good moral values in the youths.

Youths are the builders of a Nation, they will represent our nations in the international community. Our youths are ambassadors. So, good morals will help and also promote our country in communities, schools, societies, whereby enhancing good reputation for our nation.
