Story Contest: The Lion And The Mouse || @joymm
Greetings dear.. how are you doing today? It's good to have you here.. It's also my greatest pleasure to welcome you to this week contest and am going to share with you my favorite childhood story. Let's proceed;
THE LION AND THE MOUSE
Childhood was fun.. It's a place full of entertainment. This story am about to share with us was told by my grandma and it was during moonlight. Actually, we enjoyed this story and that is why I can't forget it in a lifetime.
Once upon a time, a lion was asleep in the forest, resting his body on his paws. So, a small mouse was passing by and mistakenly stepped on the lion. The lion aroused in anger while the little mouse was in a haste to get away. The lion wanted to kill the little mouse and eat it, but the mouse was begging for her life. The mouse pleaded with the lion to spare her life that someday she will surely repay him. The lion was surprised at that statement and laughed at the mouse and was also thinking of how a little mouse would ever help him.
But after all pleadings, the lion released the mouse and let her go. Some weeks later, the lion was stalking his pretty in the forest, a hunter was passing by and the lion was trapped in the hunter's net. The lion tried to free himself from the net but was to no avail. The lion roared in anger and the mouse heard the voice and quickly rushed and found out that the lion was trapped.
The mouse run to one of the big ropes and gnawed it and the ropes got loosed and the lion was set free. The mouse said to the lion "I told you that I will surely repay you but you just laughed when I said it, but now you see the kindness". This is the end of my story.
Moral lessons from the Story
• No kindness is wasted.
• We should learn to be kind and merciful to one another.
• Also learn to help each other no matter how little it is.
• Their is a proverb that says "One good turn deserves another". It just explains the story I have just shared with you.
• We should learn to do for others what we want them to do for us.
Thanks for stopping by.. I hereby invite @chiomzy810 @bela90 @entity01 to also tell us their childhood stories too.🤗

Thank you ma...😌
MODs Comment: My son loves this story in particular, and it's full of many lessons, always beg for forgiveness or mercy when you err or all offend others it shows that you were not intentional, on the other hand forgiving is a devine deed because we will also be forgiven, yeah one good turn deserved another! Thanks for sharing with us, success!
Thanks for the compliment ma..
