Children, we are going to listen to the story of Mr BEAN, the popular Comedian who made the world laugh without saying A Word. So funny a man!

Thank you Glory for your nice effort. The teacher commended on her reply. You all tried. But those you mentioned were not the famous comedian, although they are comedians too.
The children wondered who must be the most famous comedian.😴😴

The teacher asked. Do you want to know the answer? They all answered in chorus, "yesss Aunty". The children were curious as to know and hear who is the most famous comedian in the world.

Finally, the answer is:

Mr Bean!!!

There was an uproar in the class. "Aunty, yess, yess, we now remembered". But we never knew he was the most famous comedian in the world". Echoed the little girl called Chioma.

The teacher continued.
Now listen quietly with your arms folded on your desk. All cooperated. Now, who is Mr Bean? Asked the teacher.
Children, are you listening? "Yes Aunty" chorused the children.

The Story Began

Mr Bean is the most popular and famous in the sense that he is worldly known as a comedian. His original name is Rawan Atkinson.

Rawan Atkinson is an English actor, comedian and screenwriter. He achieved international fame playing the character as "Mr BEAN" in his comedies. One of the major facination and interest of this successful actor is cars. The comedian has spent a fortune on a huge vintage and classic car collection that includes Aston Martins, Audi A8, Mercedes-Benz 500E, Bentley Mulsane, Honda Civic Hybrid, Lancia Delta Integrate, Rolls-Royce and McLaren F1.

Rawan Atkinson also has a facination for lorries. He holds a category C+E lorry-driving license, gained in 1981. His Lory skill particularly came in handy when making movies. For instance, in 1991, he started in the self-pened "The Driving Man", a series of sketches featuring Atkinson driving around London trying to solve his obsession with cars. He is also lover of car racing.

Mr Bean, the character that has blessed our TV screens with comedy for decades. Atkinson is one of the most legendary figures in English comedy, and has also become one of the richest comedian in the world.

Rawan Atkinson was born on 6th January, 1955, in County Dorhan, England. He is the youngest of four brothers, however his oldest brother Paul passed away when he was an infant.

The teacher asked the children. "Do you know that Mr Bean attended school just like you?". They answered, yess!
Truly, Atkinson attended Durham Choristers School, St bees School and graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Engeering. He then went on to further his education and received specifically, an Electrical Engineer degree from Oxford.

However, this wasn't where Atkinson passion lied, and at around the same time, he would write and perform comedy sketches for several Oxford based show.

Rawan Atkinson career as a performer and comedy sketch writer began in 1979, when he started in his own comedy shows for BBC Radio 3.3. from here he turned his focus into Television, and his first big success was with the 'Not The Nine O'clock News's Show. This led to 'The Black Adder', which remains one of the best British Comedy shows of it era.

Black Adder controlled the 1980's, but the character we all recognized Atkinson for, Mr Bean went on to be an enormous success and it's the show that Rawan Atkinson is most known for.

Children, this great man did not stop on the way, but alongside this, Rawan Atkinson also started in The Thin Blue Line, and several movies including Journey English.
