Ingredients
- Yam Half tuber ( For family eating, 1/2 tuber of yam)
- Plantain (5 fingers are ok)
- Vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- 2 Eggs
- Onion
- Fresh tomatoes
- Fresh pepper
- Spices
Tomatoes, pepper, onion, egg, and spices are needed for preparing the sauce. Now, after you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, get a kitchen knife, peel the yam, and plantain and slice them into small pieces, wash with water, and keep aside.
Frying Stages
This stage is very important and you have to follow the steps shared below.
- Get your frying pan, clean it probably, and place on a medium fire, then turn (pour) in some quantity of vegetable oil.
- Add a small salt into the oil and allow it to get hot.
- Start, by frying your yam first if you are doing both. Put some quantity of the peeled yam you have washed and added salt into the hot oil and fry till it gets dry a bit. Stir it and remove it when it is dry to eat.
- For Frying of plantain do the same thing you do when frying yam and ensure the fire is high enough for the plantain not to soak oil.
Frying Egg Sauce Stages
- Wash the tomatoes, pepper, and onion, slice them, and keep aside.
- Get a clean and dry plate, break the eggs, and pour inside the plate then add a small quantity of salt.
Put your fry pan on fire, and pour in allow to get hot.
Put in the sliced tomatoes, pepper, and onion and stir.
- Add the egg and fry together till it gets dry
