SEC17 WK:#1: FORGIVENESS UNITE FAMILY
Hello my steemian friend, how are you doing, hope all is great. Am so excited to participate in this contest titled (Forgiveness unites family by Steem kids and parents community) , and for that I want to share my humble opinion on it,
We all know what forgiveness is, at least we heard of it, but how does forgiveness unites family? To have a solution to this question we need to look at this four things;
- what is forgiveness?
- what are the effects of not forgiving?
- How does forgiveness unites family?
Now let look at the first question.
Forgiveness is the ability to pardon an offender and let go of anger and thought of revenge. It's does not mean condoning a wrong or pretending it's did not happen like how people who doesn't want to forgive always do, but forgiveness is a well-though-out personal choices that reflect a loving commitment to peace and to maintain a good relationship with the other person and this is why we forgive.
For someone being not able to forgive another person who wrong him/her is a very bad personality which affects the both parties but mainly the person refusing to forgive especially if the other comes up to apologize.

Different bad things can happen to a person who refused to forgive either mentally or emotionally, for example , such person is easily offended with nothing important, anxious of everything and even severe depression. They mostly focused on wrong things which can hinder their happiness. They experience increased stress, and higher risk of illness and this can shorten their lifespans and lead to early dead, this should make us learn to forgive at least for our own good.
Two different people startup a family, and this people have different thoughts, different lifestyles, and different mentality, at times things happen that could brought up anger or destruction into the family, at point like this forgiveness is the only key to unity. When there's the ability to forgive each other including the children, loves comes in, and when there is love, there is a perfect bond of union in the family, there's no doubt that forgiveness leads to the feeling of empathy, understanding and compassion for the offended resolving in the health and growth of the family.

Many of us think that having hatred or resentment is the best way to punish others and this is not the case because we are the ones who are filled with that hatred and we can even infect people around us.
This usually happens when people accept that they have made a mistake but the opposing party does not give in just out of pride and thinking that they are punishing the other person.
Two people united as a family but have different qualities that can cause problems, that is where forgiveness should be and be united as a family.

If God can forgive our sins,how much more us.
